In einer gemeinsamen Sendung laden 111 MINDY und LOMO zum Gespräch und beleuchten die Situation von FLINTA-DJs. Sie laden lokale Akteurinnen der Szene zum Austausch ein, sei es vor dem Mikro oder an den Decks.

Mischa aka 111 MINDY rief den DJ Treff im AZ Conni ins Leben und betreut jeden zweiten Donnerstag das FLINTA-Format. Dort werden abseits patriarchaler Machtstrukturen auf allen Leveln Skills geteilt, Kontakte geknüpft und Sets aufgenommen.

Anna aka LOMO ist Mitbegründerin des Kollektiv SOKO_RAVE, das paritätisch aufgestellt ist und sich seit 2018 für FLINTA-Repräsentation in Line-Ups einsetzt.

DAVE RADIO - Jeden vierten Mittwoch im Monat von 23-1 Uhr coloRadio.org, minimalradio.de & coloRadio+Zett in Ostsachsen im DAB+ Kanal 7A. Diesmal: Der Rückblick zur letztjährigen DAVE OFF, das als ganz besonderes Highlight galt. Zur DAVE Live Jam haben Malena, Raev, Sablin, Sverra und Insect O. ihre Synthesizer im Mainfloor vom Sektor Evolution aufgebaut. Zwei Stunden haben sie zusammen live gespielt. Über den Synthesizern schwebte ein Würfel mit Visuals von Renderdich und ringsherum tanzten die Gäste zu 138+ bpm Techno. Digital Kaos hatte dazu Insect O. und Sablin im Radio-Interview an den Mikrofonen. Im Interview erfahrt ihr mehr über die Idee und die Geschichte der DAVE Live Jam. This is my new Analog Dream EP!

Deersky’s Soundteller Records begins the month of February by welcoming Micrologue back to the label for his debut EP. The German artist has been a steady contributor to the Polish imprint since making his debut in 2014, while also finding a home on Inlab Records, MNL and Provider Music. Now four remixes deep into his Soundteller discography, Micrologue returns to the label for his first original project entitled ‘Analog Dream’.

The title track kicks off the proceedings with an emotive amalgamation of progressive house and techno. Punchy beats, rolling grooves and bubbly arp fragments work wonderfully across the first act. Positive and energetic, a bright percussive cadence pushes momentum forward, before a section of broken beats provides a bridge into an array of colourful melodies. Hopeful and uplifting, the main break serves as a showcase for it’s crystalline musicality to breathe, moving atop a bed of breakbeats and onwards to a transcendent finale.

The second selection ‘Subliminal’ lowers the tempo while continuing the cosmic musical narrative set by its predecessor. Built around a chugging foundation, it’s spacey effects and wispy atmospheres create an otherworldly vibe early on. Moving forward, a more distinct lead melody fades in and out of prominence, while Bodzin-esque sonics and a poignant break add all the goose bump moments you could ever want.

The release concludes with ‘Those Who Do’ which drifts further into hypnotic techno territory. Anchored by a warm and slightly pacier groove, it’s bright tones and chugging rhythms resonate beautifully against a backdrop of fuzzed out bass. Emotive chord changes complement a poignant yet quirky lead line, before coming to full fruition during a shimmering break and pulsating finale. It rounds out a timeless selection of music from Micrologue, one where the German artist’s precision craftsmanship and melodic prowess are on full display. Highly recommended.

Die Dresdner Clubkultur ist vielfältig und leuchtet weit über die Stadtgrenzen hinaus. DAVE – Dresden Audio Visual Experience – versteht sich als Podium, um einmal im Jahr die hiesige elektronische Subkulturszene in all ihrer Vielfältigkeit zu präsentieren.

Dabei denkt DAVE Clubkultur anders. Seit 2014 tritt das Festival an, um den Alltag der elektronischen Musik in Dresden aufzubrechen und deren Grenzen neu zu verschieben. Es sorgt für Bewegung und Begegnungen in der Dresdner Clubkultur. Dazu baut DAVE elektronische Klanglandschaften an vertrauten, aber auch außergewöhnlichen Orten. Menschen werden zusammengebracht, die sich sonst kaum zum kulturellen Austausch treffen. 

Zudem werden einzigartige kulturelle Erfahrungen geboten, die der Stadt offenbar gut zu Gesicht stehen. Immerhin wurde das Festival 2016 mit dem städtischen Förderpreis ausgezeichnet. DAVE findet zwar in Dresden statt, zeigt sich aber ausdrücklich offen gegenüber Künstler*innen und Projekten aus anderen Städten oder Ländern. Plattformen wurden geboren, die Profis und Nachwuchskünstler*innen dazu befähigen, selber spannende Projekte zu gestalten und auch aktiv bei DAVE mitzumachen, egal ob in musikalischem oder visuellem Rahmen. Das vielfältige Programm, das Jahr um Jahr erweitert wird,  ist deshalb nicht nur abwechslungsreich, sondern auch lehrreich. 

Für die Programmgestaltung sorgt ein weit verzweigtes Netzwerk von ehrenamtlich tätigen Akteurinnen und Akteuren der Dresdner Kultur- und Musikbranche, die eine gemeinsame Leidenschaft und jede Menge Idealismus vereint.
