After a summer break and a few
 events launched in Bordeaux and Lisbon, @scenecityeu makes its return on Mutant. The concept is still the same for the platform: to showcase the local musical landscape of a few cities through the lens of local artists. This new episode is dedicated to the
 Vilnius scene. 
Together with its partner @palanga_street_radio,
 Scene city invited @quaintas who has been active in the local scene for over eight years. Currently he is a resident show host at @palanga_street_radio with his monthly show ENTR'ACTE and duo project COOL AIR. He is also a collective member of @minimal-lt
 who have run the electronic music night Minimal Mondays since 2006. In this mix, Quaint pieces together a personal perspective of the Vilnius electronic music scene, pacing through the best of its more experimental and melancholic side.

Duo from Metz has been consistently rising through the French electronic scene for the past year. They have recently caught the attention of demanding Djs and producer Chloé and Daniel Avery with a collection of slow grinding edits. Their eclectic sets oscillate between house and techno and are often sweetened with soul and funk, from all time classics to the newest, most contemporary electro tracks. Get ready to get weird: we’re ringing in the new year with Daniel Baughman (@baughman), who first caught our eye at Dekmantel this summer. Alongside doing A&R at John Talabot's label, Hivern Discs, he also curates the line ups for Barcelona's audiophile listening bar Nica and is part of Magic Teapot Records. Phew, now you can tell why it took us so long to get a hold of him. 

As for the mix, expect the unexpected. Daniel’s known for his eclectic music choices, carving out his very own genre which defies definition. As the man himself says: best listened to without distractions — peace.

International Tribe is a weekly mix series hosted by Thris Tian.

This week’s International Tribe mix comes from Bufiman.

Jan Schülte, AKA Bufiman is a producer and DJ from Dusseldorf.

Having released countless records under various aliases, Jan Schülte continues to push the envelope as an artist. He has released on many labels, such as Dekmantel, Music For Dreams, Verein Freier Menschen und Musik and many more.

His back catalogue also contains recordings under his alias Wolf Müller, and spans genres and tempos. His sound can be described as Psychedelic, dubby grooves with mind-bending samples and rhythms.

His latest release on Dekmantel, titled ‘Albumsi’, is his debut LP as Bufiman. It is his first record since leaving his day job of 11 years, freeing up time to focus on his music without external pressure.

Tune into his International Tribe mix for an hour of psychedelic, chugging electronics.

As he puts it himself  - "This mix marks an end of one cycle in my creative endeavours and signifies a start of another. RADIO DINAMIKA - it's a project of a two DJs Pališkis and Karolis Urbonas, which included a weekly radio show. Name tells by itself that one of the project axis rotates around radio and all about Lithuanian and beyond electronic music culture and roots.
