I was inspired to write this parody (never ending story) after talking with my daughter about everything... 
It's hard to believe the lockdown is still ongoing and so much censorship, scare mongering, and unnecessary restrictions along with it... So much suffering is being caused by the lockdown here in my country as well as all over the world more so than the virus that has taken centre stage for over a year now.

God's Free Air

Right after we completed our album "Midnight Coffee", released exclusively here on SoundCloud just a week ago, and even a few days before that, Roberto B (@user-55822457 and https://soundcloud.com/robertoiib) had already an idea about our next project. He wanted that we switch to composing in a "film score" ("musique de film") / "soundtrack" ("bande son") main genre, but dispersing within it - as we typically do in our collaborations - influences and bits from electronic, ambient, dance and classical music as well as progressive and symphonic rock and jazz fusion. I immediately agreed with the proposed novel direction, but was not sure how this project will go. We decided - last-minute, actually - this time to title our album (in progress) in French, "Croisière du monde", and the tracks in it as well, but also giving in these intro texts our own preferred translation (not always literal, since languages have their own meaning and logic). So the English title for the same album of ours we propose is "Cruiser Ships Crossing the Seas".

We open here the album with its 1st track, "Le navire de croisière part", or in an English version of the title (as we would like it to sound), "The Cruiser Ship Departs". We hope you'll enjoy this track, as well as the album - still to come - in its entirety.

The track was created in collaboration on 26 and 28 September 2021 (initial and subsequent mix and recording in MAGIX by Roberto B), 27 September 2021 (intermediate additions, mix and recording in GarageBand and Logic Pro by Alex M) and 2 October 2021 (further arrangements and recording, with final mix, in Logic Pro by Alex M), and posted on SC on 3 October 2021 (by Alex M).

The artwork cover for the album and all its constituent tracks is designed and implemented by Alex M on 29 June 2021 (in Tayasui Sketch in Mac OS), cropped by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 30 June 2021, and annotated with text by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 2 October 2021 - in coordination and agreement with Roberto B.
