This is the second song going back in time.

The year 2017 was not a musically productive year for me.

It was difficult for me to compose something decent, from my point of view, of course.

The songs they were thinking of were beyond my ability and knowledge to make music and that was frustrating for me. Today I have some sketches from that time that I have not developed yet.

However, I did my first song where I combined piano and electronics in a way that I have unconsciously and slowly developed to this day.

This song is called "Hurted in silence", which was released in 2018, but performed in late 2017.

Although it is dynamic and has a certain rhythm, it really is sad and dramatic. I draw on memories and experiences of people I met who taught me how cruel some people can be to others for no reason, just for the sake of feeling superior, when in reality we all have abilities that make us unique and worth knowing and respecting. .

It is possible that he was thinking of helpless people. I have a close case that will affect me my whole life.

Here's a song inspired by the coronavirus pandemic (but it's upbeat and hopeful). Big thanks to Ben Lokuta, who recorded the drums remotely. Ben is an amazing young drummer currently studying at Berklee College of Music and the drummer for Distant Cuzins. I played gigs with Ben all last year, including at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Ben plays a huge drum set with two kicks, so mixing was a bit of a challenge! I told Ben to let loose in the last verse, and he really came through.
All four guitars I play in this song are Gretsches--hollowbody or semi-hollow--all with different pickups:
