Nookie is DJ & Producer Gavin Cheung from Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. Worked in the Red Records(Kiss FM affiliate) chain of shops in London, and stayed with the west end branch when Pete Waterman bought it and changed the name to Unity Records. Also owned the Daddy Armshouse Records label, record shop and studio. For these mixes, I have taken tracks from his many aliases as well as the groups he was involved in. Nookie 91-95 History Mix Pt II

Foul Play were formed in 1992 by Northampton based John Morrow & Steve Bradshaw and Milton Keynes based Steve Gurley, and quickly created their own label, Oblivion, to release their own material. These releases attracted attention from legendary label, Moving Shadow, and they were signed in 1993, where they released 8 singles, 1 album & a plethora of top-notch remixes for other well-established artists. Gurley was to leave the outfit, amicably, in 1994 to pursue his own personal challenges, leaving Morrow & Bradshaw to carry on as a duo, until the untimely & tragic death of Bradshaw in 1997.
For the mix, i have taken almost every track on their releases from 1992-1995.

Hi, i'm Dave, from Coventry, and i started djing way back in 1990, while still at school, inspired by legends Sasha and Carl Cox after listening to sets, given to me from older friends!

 I spent a lot of my time during the early 90's at the legendary club Eclipse, in Coventry, where i met lots of fantastic people including some of the finest dj's around at the time, doing a couple of sets in Marco Polo, Birmingham. I also ventured across the midlands, clubbing wise, to places including Shelleys, Institute and Coast 2 Coast.

 After 5 years, i fell out of love with the scene, seeing as it was changing and not to my liking, to be honest and in 1995 i gave up raving and djing. Kept my vinyl, though, just in case!!

 Got back into it in 2006 after listening to online radio playing a lot of oldskool, and thought i'd give it another go. Not had the confidence to play out again, since but you never know.....
