Altern 8 were formed by Chris Peat & Mark Archer, in Stafford, 1990, after the dissolution of previous alias Nexus 21. releasing some of the most recognised tunes of the rave era! I've taken tracks from all of their single releases as well as tracks from the "Full On Mask Hysteria" album.

Cool Hand Flex is Pete Aymer a Prolific DJ/Producer, he and Randall used to play on Centreforce together and worked in his brother Mike De Underground's records shop. He also played on Fantasy FM, Kool FM & Rave FM. Co-founded Mac II Recordings with Randall. I've taken as many tracks as I could find from his earlier releases & remixes for Pt I.......

Carl Cox Book Of Love Re-Mix

DJ Junk started djing in 1988 with Hip-Hop & Electro, mostly for his breakers to practice to and progressed onto hardcore by 1991, selling tapes known as "Junk Hardcore" through shops & outside raves. By 1992, he was desperate to make his own music and convinced Rodger from local rave outfit Tone Def to use his studio. The tracks were played by all of the big names, including on Radio by Slipmatt. Junk went on to release a total of 12 Hardcore/Jungle 12"s, as well as releasing some house/hard house tunes under the name of Blister Sisters. I've taken almost all of the tracks from the Junk releases 92-95, as well as some previously unreleased tracks. The unreleased tracks are currently available or soon to be available on Spandangle Selection....

Jason Kaye Tribute Mix Pt I - 1990-91

Hi, i'm Dave, from Coventry, and i started djing way back in 1990, while still at school, inspired by legends Sasha and Carl Cox after listening to sets, given to me from older friends!

 I spent a lot of my time during the early 90's at the legendary club Eclipse, in Coventry, where i met lots of fantastic people including some of the finest dj's around at the time, doing a couple of sets in Marco Polo, Birmingham. I also ventured across the midlands, clubbing wise, to places including Shelleys, Institute and Coast 2 Coast.

 After 5 years, i fell out of love with the scene, seeing as it was changing and not to my liking, to be honest and in 1995 i gave up raving and djing. Kept my vinyl, though, just in case!!

 Got back into it in 2006 after listening to online radio playing a lot of oldskool, and thought i'd give it another go. Not had the confidence to play out again, since but you never know.....
