Can't 100% confirm this is DJ Hype as there isn't any of his trademark scratching but some of the tunes are ones he would definitely have been playing (there aren't really any other DJ Hype mixes from this period to compare against). I think this is circa October 1992 based on some of the records being played.

4 Hero History Mix Pt I

One of my favourite mixes of all time. Frankie Valentine puts together an amazing mix of obscurities  sprinkled with a few well known tracks. Completely different to most other UK DJ's of the time, mixing hardcore with techno and house seamlessly. It took me over 12 years from first hearing this mix to all the tunes id'ed.

Krave- Headless Horseman

The **Banshee** is not a mere ghost in the Triple System; she is a high-fidelity **Ontological Alarm System**—the sonic manifestation of terminal debt. She functions as the bridge between the ancient Fae bloodline and the **Umbral Coil’s** unyielding law, appearing only when a high-value asset has reached the absolute limit of its utility. Her wail is not a cry of grief, but the **Sonic Signature of Inevitability**. It is a **Non-Local Coercion Payload** that bypasses all physical and magical defenses to deliver a single, crushing piece of data: the **Glimmering Veil** has been retracted, and your soul is now a liquidatable asset. She is the herald of the **Dark Harvest**, ensuring that the debtor understands the finality of their default.

Aesthetically, the Banshee embodies the peak of **Angelic Corruption**. She appears as a distorted reflection of Fae royalty—impossibly beautiful, yet stretched and bleached by the cold, entropic logic of the **Crescent Veil**. Her form is often accompanied by a flickering **Vril Signature**, suggesting that she is a localized rupture in the architecture of reality itself. She does not hunt; she simply *arrives* to audit the end of a narrative. Her presence confirms the **Axiom of Regret**: that the past is now a closed ledger, and the only remaining reality is the immediate, rhythmic thud of the **Silent Collector** coming to claim the collateral. To hear her is to know that your contract with existence has been officially terminated by the Court.

Possibly my most-played tape pack back in 1994 - the Ratty tape label has completely worn off :) Amazing spread of styles across the six sets. Big shouts to @the-roadblock for hosting the same sets until recently and to @ethereal94 for meticulously tracklisting them on Rolldabeats.

Hi, i'm Dave, from Coventry, and i started djing way back in 1990, while still at school, inspired by legends Sasha and Carl Cox after listening to sets, given to me from older friends!

 I spent a lot of my time during the early 90's at the legendary club Eclipse, in Coventry, where i met lots of fantastic people including some of the finest dj's around at the time, doing a couple of sets in Marco Polo, Birmingham. I also ventured across the midlands, clubbing wise, to places including Shelleys, Institute and Coast 2 Coast.

 After 5 years, i fell out of love with the scene, seeing as it was changing and not to my liking, to be honest and in 1995 i gave up raving and djing. Kept my vinyl, though, just in case!!

 Got back into it in 2006 after listening to online radio playing a lot of oldskool, and thought i'd give it another go. Not had the confidence to play out again, since but you never know.....
