As the last rays of summer dissolve into memory, W embraces transformation with Slow Down, the latest collaborative venture from Mexican talents Heîk & soloiist. Flexing a colorfully lush sound, this two-tracker showcases the Mexican pair's mercurial chemistry as they traverse across borders to deliver a most rousing proposition.

Surging through the speaker with decisive aplomb, Heîk & soloiist leave their first mark with the titular "Slow Down", as meandering blips ricochet restlessly off a tight frame before a low-end pulse takes hold of the piece. Now, with ebbing pads swelling in full-blown technicolor across tantalizing arrangements, our creative duo deploys a scrumptious vocal lead and weighted chords that usher us into higher grounds, a crystalline place where emotions move to a different kind of beat. 

On our B side, "Movin' Back" delivers a darker charge. Built around a throbbing bassline and relentless percussion, the track embraces its underground instincts. As neon stabs slice through the mix with precision, a sharp, clear cut vocal prowls across the framework, dragging us deeper into its nocturnal undercurrent. Dave Leatherman aka René van der Weijde is a music producer / DJ with his roots in the early 90's. He was partly responsible for the success on the early 90's stealth label (Rotterdam) with releases like TFX (Deep Inside Of Me), Trancemission (Keep this Party Slammin') Techno Grooves and Space Trax (Bounce). Later on he joined the Pegasus label and together with Lex van Coeverden he produced the 90's hit Atlantic Ocean - Waterfall which was a huge success in many countries. In 2010 he picked up on producing and DJ ing again. Currently producing tracks on the Ibiza based Golden Key label, which also brings him to Club Lio  - Ibiza for gigs in the summer season.
