Level 42 - Starchild  (Dave Leatherman & Bruce Nolan 2022 Rework)

I love to share Soul, Funk and Disco and a whole lot more. I have been heavily into rare grooves of the R&B variety since the early 2000's enjoying the club scene in Leeds Northern England where I essentially grew up. I love it all from Northern Soul to rare disco...if its uplifting funky and danceable I'm all over it!
I got my first turntables in 2013 living in Northern BC and have been enjoying playing Serato vinyl whenever I get the chance!
Moved to Rossland in 2016 and have really been enjoying the vibrant dj scene here. In 2020 transitioned to playing boutique events around the kootenays and recorded a monthly radio show Regen Rhythms for https://www.iamsoundacademy.com and Kootenay Coop radio.

Dave Leatherman aka René van der Weijde is a music producer / DJ with his roots in the early 90's. He was partly responsible for the success on the early 90's stealth label (Rotterdam) with releases like TFX (Deep Inside Of Me), Trancemission (Keep this Party Slammin') Techno Grooves and Space Trax (Bounce). Later on he joined the Pegasus label and together with Lex van Coeverden he produced the 90's hit Atlantic Ocean - Waterfall which was a huge success in many countries. In 2010 he picked up on producing and DJ ing again. Currently producing tracks on the Ibiza based Golden Key label, which also brings him to Club Lio  - Ibiza for gigs in the summer season.

Bruce Nolan aka René van den Berghe is a music producer and DJ, with a music background from the 90s.
In the early 90’s he released his first tracks on a successful Dutch House label called Stealth Records (Rotterdam), including Techno Grooves, B-Real and Fortune & Fame. 
In this same period he release, under his alias Ian van Dale, his biggest hit so far “Mainx - 88 to piano” (Hithouse records). Followed by many more releases for labels as CC records (Vinylwatch  and Chord Symbols), Black Hole, Clockwork and Substance.
His love for dance music never stopped him. So in 2018 he picked up on producing and DJ-ing again. Currently producing tracks on Suppressed Energy, Blockhead Recording, and Springbok records.
