OPOLOPO has delivered his renowned magical touch on this remix of the slick, sultry 1978 disco masterpiece by D.C. LaRue.

The original track was a sure-fire floor filler for djs in 1978 and stamped D.C. LaRue's first collaboration with Casablanca records and the legendary disco producer, the late Bob Esty.

The track features on the platinum selling soundtrack to the movie "Thank God it's Friday", a humorous insight into the goings on of a fictional disco club in LA and features Donna Summer and a young Jeff Goldblum.

Opolopo has made quite a name over the last few years with a series of musically accomplished remixes for the likes of Gregory Porter, Stevie Wonder and Lisa Stansfield. 

His debut album from Z Records "Superconductor" hits the streets at the end of May and features contributions from Keni Burke, Sasha Williamson, Taka Boom, Pete Simpson and Diane Charlemagne. 

Now we give you the first of several singles with this double sider feat Colonel Red on the Prince-ish “The Best” and the more jazz funky instrumental "Get On Up".

‘Do You Like It’ is the lead track and 3rd single from Husky’s forthcoming album, ‘Go Don’t Stop’. Featuring the incredible vocals of Alyson Joyce, this lush slice of melodic deep house weaves through a myriad of musical elements and melodies to create a lingering tidal wave of emotions. 

Husky has tirelessly crafted this track with Alyson’s original catchy vocal and piano hook to create a modern day masterpiece of house music. ‘Do You Like It’ is the kind of track that ‘loop play’ was invented for.

Remixing this single falls into the hands of some of Husky’s personal favourites. Scott Diaz needs little introduction and has already proved that when given parts from Husky he delivers a future classic. Infusing a heat wave into his garage inspired melodic chops and heavenly chords, It’s a summer party inside a record and this one’s going to make a serious splash! 

Also joining this release are some of Canada’s finest exports in the bass/deep house realm, Rainer + Grimm. Slinging the vocal down a few pitches R&G have created a fresh mood for the track. Haunting synth melodies, hypnotic chord stabs and their trademark throbbing bass merge into a twisted yet bouncy deep house essential.
