“It has been a huge honour working on the operation disco album compilation for Z Records which has been on my radar for three decades now and is possibly my favourite House & Disco label. Dave Lee is a big inspiration to me as his 1991 Single 'Do What You Feel' was one of the first records to appear in my DJ sets in my earliest days as a working DJ 30 years ago.
In 2013 I started to produce music under the 'Dr Packer' name and when I began doing the occasional remix for Z Records, I never imagined it would end up resulting in an album project. To be able to work on cover versions of some of my all-time favourite soul & disco songs such as 'You Can't Run From My Love' and some of my all-time favourite vocalists such as Leroy Burgess it is really a dream come true.
Dave Lee is an easy guy to work with and is always open to my suggestions which resulted in me remixing one of my all-time favourite tracks of his ‘Love Fantasy' which is also now three decades old. Not to mention possibly my favourite single from his 'Destination Boogie' compilation, the 80's underground classic 'Colors - Am I Gonna Be The One’ plus two brand new mixes of The Sunburst Band. Making this a very exciting album project with plenty of exclusives and re-masters of my older releases, not to mention my favourite gems from the amazing Z Records back catalogue.” – Greg Packer

Recording under his Raw Essence alias, Dave Lee teams up with Lifford on Do It Again – a soaring soul cut and the second single to be released from his forthcoming album Produced With Love II.

Dave Lee has been one of the UK’s foremost champions of vocal house music and soul for decades, collaborating with acclaimed vocalists and instrumentalists and amassing a hugely impressive discography along the way. A man of many monikers, Lee’s latest single lands under his Raw Essence alias: one that neatly encapsulates the appeal of this timeless slice of soul.

Do It Again is a pure, unfiltered delight: a song so resolutely ecstatic and flawlessly produced its enough to make you weep with joy. Vocals are provided by former Public Demand and Artful Dodger member and longtime champion of UKG and soulful house Lifford, whose silky voice transports you to a time when outfits were unashamedly flamboyant and “funky” had yet to become a dirty word.

Included on the single package is a remix from LAZYWAX, the musical project of Hans Müller and Wolfgang Schneider. Their reinterpretation adds bright chords and an electro-inspired bassline, transforming the organic warmth of the original into an icy, cool-as-hell banger.

Comin' off a monster year where his huge hit "Let Me See You (Clap Your Hands)" was the 13th most downloaded song of 2014 on Traxsource, his interpretation of "PLAY" has all the makings of another massive feel good, party anthem. CAROLYN HARDING: Singer, songwriter and author Carolyn Harding has been blowing away audiences throughout the world since the mid 80’s. She’s performed at legendary venues such as Paradise Garage, Studio 54, Zanzibar, Ministry of Sound UK, Southport Weekender, Club Yellow Japan,  Lime Light NY, 1st Ave MN, and many more. Early influences such as Jazz greats Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald and Dinah Washington inspired her to find her own incredible voice.
