Audio engineer/musician based in central Scotland.

Part of my time is spent engineering live gigs - i'm the resident engineer at Twa Tams venue in Perth, and freelancing for various bands, festivals such as Doune the Rabbit Hole and companies such as Perthshire Sound and Light.

Other times i'm a studio engineer, freelancing out of Clearwater Studios in Perth, 7th Harmonic Studios in Edinburgh and available for location recording with my own portable gear. You might be surprised to know that many of the recordings on my Soundcloud page were tracked/mixed either partly or entirely outwith a dedicated recording studio.

When i'm not doing sound, i'm a gigging musician. I play fiddle and guitar mostly, in bands such as True Gents, Red Pine Timber Company, Emelle and others. I write my own music and really love to collaborate with artists on arrangements and string parts.

Mr Wishart is an acoustic guitarist/singer-songwriter/audio engineer/producer/casual physicist. He's been playing his own tunes for the last 2-3 years, playing numerous memorable gigs about the various bars and dives in Edinburgh and Glasgow. His music is solo, with a use of a loop pedal to add various sound effects or allow multiple guitar lines to weave in and out. This allows him to build up songs as if he is his own backing band!

In the summer of 2009 he released his debut EP, 'The Neon Love Chicken', currently available on iTunes, Amazon and Bandcamp, as well as free streams on Facebook and Myspace. While studying Audio Engineering at SAE Glasgow since April 2010, he's also been working towards the release on his 1st full length album, 'Life Through A Bandpass Filter.'

In January 2012, he released his first live EP 'I Might Be Right.' Recorded at Pivo Pivo in Glasgow, October 2011 by engineer Michael Butler. Currently available on Bandcamp, CDBaby, iTunes and various other vendors.
