My playlists are artists that shaped my life and albums I have selected remixes by brilliant DJ's and reworked the track lists.  Thanks to the DJs who are skilled and brilliant who can take a track and give it that little extra, mash it brilliantly or completely rework the song giving it new sound and direction.  Some DJ's can are so skilled their rework changes the songs mood and meaning all together & some can take a song you hate and make a song you just can't stop playing.

ROOTS/Going Back To Our Roots has strolled off into the  Old Skool sunset and beyond!!!  With the likes of TTF and QFX making a return it was time to stand aside until sanity returns.
Will be digging through the crates getting back into my main love which is Deep and Soulful House!  Years of listening to MAW, Roger Sanchez, Graeme Park & Co have well and truly influenced my love of Soulful House.

Plans to resurrect my monthly mix under my BASF C90 series of mixes!
Also, plans for a couple of side projects that will keep me busy through the summer!!!

"Italo"/Australian , DJ/Producer & Remixer based in Australia, Dave Mathmos, began hitting the ground running in the music realm in the 80th, and since that time has manifested into a versatile and multifaceted artist with his own signature sound and stylization. Known for his widely authentic blend of genres like Disco, Funk, Soul, Deep House, Italo Disco and Nudisco, Dave’s journey into music began in the producer’s chair where he started tackling an array of productions with House & Deep House tracks, and quickly began solidifying a style that shares equal parts originality and familiarity, giving his audience a taste of something fresh yet still identifiable. 
 
After several years of honing his craft and putting together a solid chemistry in his musical approach, Dave’s name became more familiar throughout his scene and began garnering positive reception throughout his scene. Currently, he has been releasing music with several Australian and European labels, as well as DJing in both continental scenes as well. His most notable work has been his edits and remixes that include nostalgic songwriting arrangements, grooves, and an innovative modern style that has successfully expanded his artistic merit in contributing his important work for both the Australian and European markets.  
 
On top of remixes, he has been crafting together his own material as well, orientated to several modern touches to deep house, balearic and nudisco to the wide spectrum of electronic music.
