Sri Lanka based Geordie purveyor of Disco, Soul, Nu-Disco and House, playing a smattering of anything in between that gets you grooving. When the floor gets sweaty, I'm a big spinner of soulful house, playing the vocal classics from Masters at Work, Leroy Burgess, Frankie Knuckles and Jon Cutler to name a few, as well as fresh releases and disco through the decades, from the OG 12 inches to Nu-Disco cuts & edits.

Since 1987 Mr Groove Records has established itself with expressive know-how in the phonographic market, a history of boldness and conquest.
It started with Discomania, which supplied São Paulo with releases from the 90s and rarities from the 70s and 80s.
Several connections Europe / USA / Brazil gave Discomania the differential of the time, which during these years wrote important chapters of Black and Electronic music in Brazil.
Innovation and musical quality accompanied it until 1999, when it ended its activities.
In 2001, he returns as Mr Groove Records and with a vision on new horizons, he starts to climb at large strides, now in another niche of the market: Disco Classics, Funk, Soul Music and MPB. It mixes generations that call it specialized in the Classics genre.
The next few years reserve Mr Groove Records a successful future, with plans to develop more and more new ways of reaching consumers and offering them business opportunities with greater convenience and comfort without losing the dynamics of interaction with their audiences.
It is agile and up-to-date, thus maintaining its Vanguard position in the segment.

"Italo"/Australian , DJ/Producer & Remixer based in Australia, Dave Mathmos, began hitting the ground running in the music realm in the 80th, and since that time has manifested into a versatile and multifaceted artist with his own signature sound and stylization. Known for his widely authentic blend of genres like Disco, Funk, Soul, Deep House, Italo Disco and Nudisco, Dave’s journey into music began in the producer’s chair where he started tackling an array of productions with House & Deep House tracks, and quickly began solidifying a style that shares equal parts originality and familiarity, giving his audience a taste of something fresh yet still identifiable. 
 
After several years of honing his craft and putting together a solid chemistry in his musical approach, Dave’s name became more familiar throughout his scene and began garnering positive reception throughout his scene. Currently, he has been releasing music with several Australian and European labels, as well as DJing in both continental scenes as well. His most notable work has been his edits and remixes that include nostalgic songwriting arrangements, grooves, and an innovative modern style that has successfully expanded his artistic merit in contributing his important work for both the Australian and European markets.  
 
On top of remixes, he has been crafting together his own material as well, orientated to several modern touches to deep house, balearic and nudisco to the wide spectrum of electronic music.
