Hectors ambitions began at an early age of 17, where he would spend hours practicing on his decks with the vinyl he had just worked hard for at the infamous Primal Records. The knowledge gained from his experiences at Primal together with a long list of friends and contacts, allowed Hector to develop what has become his resourceful and creative sound. Whether in the studio or, performing live behind the decks, Hectors love, passion and energy is clear to see. His sounds take influence from Latin, jazz, funk, hip hop and soul and are of course sewn together with his apparent grooving bass lines and solid fat beats.

Hector’s character, hard work and innovative ability has given him a prominent standing in the house music scene, leading him to become one of the most sought after artists. Also forming the production phenomenon “Fries and Bridges” with occasional partner, Phil Weeks [Paris]. Releases from Hector have enhanced highly respected labels such as Robsoul, Music For Freaks, Nightshift, Detour, Vista, Brique Rouge, Doubledown and Lowdown Music. These popular works have lead to further demand with new releases due out throughout 2012 on Restricted Access, DJ Sneak Classics, Magnetic, Pacha Recordings. As well as managing and producing on his own distinguished underground labels, Minority Music & The Factory.

Coming in 2013 his highly anticipated debut album with Chris Carrier, being released on the amazing new French imprint Apollonia.

Hector sets no boundaries as he expands the limits with his exceptional and versatile approach to producing and presenting his interpretation and version of house music. This attention to detail, evident in every beat, has led to acclaim from house music’s highest ranked artists "DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, Doc Martin, Dan Ghenacia, Apollonia, Chris Carrier, Mark Farina, Diz and DJ Heather.

Caveman is a Glasgow-based funky and jackin’ house producer and DJ of indeterminate (and non-specific) age. He is believed to emerged from a Scottish bog at some point in the 1970s during an archaeological dig, an early Stone-Age pair of headphones over his protruding forehead. 

In between fashioning rudimentary tools from flint, he produces jackin’ house and disco tracks, all with serious funk at their heart. With releases on 18-09 Records, Kinky Trax, Rhythmic By Nature & Disco Balls amongst others, he is the archetypal 21-year overnight success, having started DJing in the 1990’s whilst at university in Edinburgh. He brings all of his Caveman love for everything disco, funk, soul and house to each and every one of his productions in the hope that, if nothing else, they get the dance floor moving. 

Caveman is also a member of the Shoogle Studios crew coming out of Glasgow - a collective of like-minded electronic music producers, all intent on changing the world of dance music from the inside out, whilst having the odd party along the way. He also co-presents the fortnightly jackin' house "Mike & Caveman's Party Manifesto" on Saturo Sounds Radio every second Monday from 7-10pm at www.saturosounds.com.

Caveman is an avid collector of different beers, and stores his prized collection in his stomach. He also notoriously hates goodbyes, so if you are leaving the room, please walk out backwards so he will think you're coming in

Populous is Andrea Mangia, a producer hailing from Lecce, a small city on the heel of Italy's boot. In 2003, he made his first jaunt into the music world with the album Quipo (via Morr Music). In 2005 he released Queue For Love, influenced by his reggae/hip-hop-infused surroundings (Lecce is known as Italy's Jamaica, as reggae and dancehall are extremely popular there) and in 2008 he released Drawn in Basic. Both albums were widely received by international critics, earning him a spot on the global music map. He became known for the way he seamlessly blends digital sounds with the analog warmth of soul/hip-hop/whatever else he's influenced by at the time.

Azulejos, his forthcoming release, has a South American tinge to it (and is even partly in Spanish). He moved to Lisbon, Portugal to start work on the album bringing with him only a laptop, a small MIDI keyboard, and a microphone. "Lisbon became both my studio and my muse," he says. He wandered the city collecting field recordings— from trams to people singing on street corners. He sifted through flea markets for records to use for sampling (exclusively Portuguese and South American). Populous describes Lisbon as a city 'halfway between South American soul and European modernity, African in some aspects, and dramatically melancholic." He channeled these poignant fusions into Azulejos, named for the typical tiled facades in Portugal— simultaneously bright and decaying. The album features collaborations with Nina Miranda of Smoke City and Ela Minus, among others. It's a love letter to Lisbon, and a dreamy quilt of sounds he both grew up with and heard for the first time during his influential stay in Portugal.

Since my second release on Glitter Cowboy two months ago, I've felt ever so liberated. For a long time I let my creative fire lie pretty dormant, opting instead to complain about having to kowtow to labels to progress or how hard it is to finish things. I wasted months procrastinating about getting the final mix and master out of an idea, because it just felt too difficult to get there. Maybe it was very almost finished, but the bass sounded a little muddy and the thought that something I would be showing to the world would be anything less than perfect continuously prevented me from achieving completion.

All of this changed when I realised that with my label, I no longer have to work to appease anyone or anything. My mix downs aren't always super clean and my masters are sometimes very different in volume and bass content, but that's ok because I made it anyway. Each release is a timestamped window into a period of my life and loves that gets to live on forever as a piece of music. I think that’s too special to pass up on, so I’m going to continue making a lot of beautiful, at times muddy music with the same pure intentions.

Being dedicated to music since his younger age, nowadays as a DJ and producer Menno expres himself through musical innovation, telling his own story and take you along a warm and melodic journey.

With a track record of EP’s on various highly respected labels like Oliver Schories Soso, Einmusika, Gem Records, Hernan’s Sudbeat, Ananda’s Soulful Techno and several powerful releases on Olivier Weiters Weiter label – like the bombtracks Colors, Disclosure and No Saints – he already regarded as a more than reliable producer! So it’s no surprise at all that his music found his way to the ‘dj bags’ of heavyweights such as John Digweed, Kölsch, Guy J, Eelke Kleijn, Yotto and Maceo Plex.

But also as a dj Menno earned his stripes! Becoming the winner of the Dutch Pioneer DJ Contest in 2014 and playing at leading festivals like Loveland, Amsterdam Open Air, (Herfst)Drift, Smeerboel, Pleinvrees and Lief. But also leading venues like Paradiso, 013, De Effenaar, Tivoli and his ‘own’ Doornroosje, in his hometown Nijmegen, have already experienced the energetic and warm sets by the man himself. With a focus on new musical goals, interesting collaborations and some cool releases and gigs, we definitely can expect some fine things in the near future for sure!

Chic had a sound of all their own, the crack rhythm section of Nile Rodgers (guitar), Bernard Edwards (bass) and drummer Tony Thompson providing the highly infectious grooves that characterised their records. They would be massively influential as a consequence, their anthemic tracks still loved all these years later, with a new younger generation embracing their good time vibe in the same way their parents might have.
 
The mix consists of 12 edits / reworks of 9 Rogers & Edwards produced tracks, all of which happened to be originally recorded during 1977-79, the years which saw Disco peak and decline, with Chic at the helm during those halcyon days, their own recordings providing 4 US top 10 singles, including a pair of #1s, whilst Sister Sledge, whose success they mentored, weighed in via the hit-laden ‘We Are Family’ LP. They even found time for a French excursion via Sheila & B Devotion’s ‘Spacer’.

"Italo"/Australian , DJ/Producer & Remixer based in Australia, Dave Mathmos, began hitting the ground running in the music realm in the 80th, and since that time has manifested into a versatile and multifaceted artist with his own signature sound and stylization. Known for his widely authentic blend of genres like Disco, Funk, Soul, Deep House, Italo Disco and Nudisco, Dave’s journey into music began in the producer’s chair where he started tackling an array of productions with House & Deep House tracks, and quickly began solidifying a style that shares equal parts originality and familiarity, giving his audience a taste of something fresh yet still identifiable. 
 
After several years of honing his craft and putting together a solid chemistry in his musical approach, Dave’s name became more familiar throughout his scene and began garnering positive reception throughout his scene. Currently, he has been releasing music with several Australian and European labels, as well as DJing in both continental scenes as well. His most notable work has been his edits and remixes that include nostalgic songwriting arrangements, grooves, and an innovative modern style that has successfully expanded his artistic merit in contributing his important work for both the Australian and European markets.  
 
On top of remixes, he has been crafting together his own material as well, orientated to several modern touches to deep house, balearic and nudisco to the wide spectrum of electronic music.
