Chopshop Music celebrates a decade of music ! It was in 2009 when George Kelly AKA DJ Butcher released on vinyl 'Chopshop Music Volume 1' and set for a journey that this year reaches the milestone of 10 years. To celebrate, Chopshop gathered some of the finest artists to release a totally free compilation through soundcloud as a token of appreciation to all the fans and supporters of the label. Downloads can be found individually on each artist soundcloud page and later in full through a link via the Chopshop page. Artists Including Cordycep,DJ XS, Ronny Hammond, Dave Gerrard, S.Nolla, HP Vince, Vaudafunk, Tom Drummond, DJ Agent 86 and of course George Kelly.  Here is to Chopshop Music!

Over a quarter of a million people have visited the site in 2020 and made it what it is today.
We want to celebrate this with all in our growing community, and what better way than sharing a free compilation with some of the best and most influential artists in the genre?

"Italo"/Australian , DJ/Producer & Remixer based in Australia, Dave Mathmos, began hitting the ground running in the music realm in the 80th, and since that time has manifested into a versatile and multifaceted artist with his own signature sound and stylization. Known for his widely authentic blend of genres like Disco, Funk, Soul, Deep House, Italo Disco and Nudisco, Dave’s journey into music began in the producer’s chair where he started tackling an array of productions with House & Deep House tracks, and quickly began solidifying a style that shares equal parts originality and familiarity, giving his audience a taste of something fresh yet still identifiable. 
 
After several years of honing his craft and putting together a solid chemistry in his musical approach, Dave’s name became more familiar throughout his scene and began garnering positive reception throughout his scene. Currently, he has been releasing music with several Australian and European labels, as well as DJing in both continental scenes as well. His most notable work has been his edits and remixes that include nostalgic songwriting arrangements, grooves, and an innovative modern style that has successfully expanded his artistic merit in contributing his important work for both the Australian and European markets.  
 
On top of remixes, he has been crafting together his own material as well, orientated to several modern touches to deep house, balearic and nudisco to the wide spectrum of electronic music.
