Disparate producers with complimentary sounds, Evil Needle and Sivey met in an online beat community 6 years ago and to this day have never met in real life. On June 24, 2014 they present their first official EP, 'Constructive Interference', to the world. 'Constructive Interference' was created over the span of 3 years and embodies the unique soundscapes of each producer.

Evil Needle, based in Strasbourg France [just on the border of Germany] pulls inspiration from traditional hip hop, neo-soul and trap music while seamlessly weaving in open synths and chunky chord progressions. Manchester, UK-based Sivey incorporates soulful beat-oriented music with what he calls "emotional highs and lows that are still musically stimulating" adding a beautifully uptempo sensibility.

The two come together to create a big sound vibration that is reminiscent of the round sound of vinyl – this time in a digital version.

Following on from fellow Hot Creations founder Jamie Jones is Lee Foss featuring Camille Safiya with ‘The Gift EP’ on their Emerald City imprint. The package includes remixes from Sonny Fodera, Lee Curtiss and Detlef, who all champion the globally recognised Hot Creations sound.

Music heavyweight Lee Foss serves up a Summertime classic with an infectious bassline that perfectly accompanies Camille’s luscious vocals. It wouldn’t be an Emerald City release without the wonky electronic wobbles that are sporadically placed throughout. 

First up on remix duty is UK born Sonny Fodera who’s remix is perfect for the imminent festival season, with an energy that will generate damage on any dance floor. Michigan born Lee Curtiss is up next and adds his signature groove-drenched synths. Closing the package is the hottest name to recently have come out of Greece, Detlef, with a remix that skilfully strips things back into a track made for the early hours.

Lee Foss is globally recognised as a pioneer within the underground music scene and rightly so after signing artists such as Richy Ahmed, wAFF, Mark Jenkyns and Nathan Barato to name but a few. He also regularly joins forces with Jamie Jones, Luca C and Ali Love to form super-group Hot Natured.

The South African phenomenon Black Coffee has become well known in recent years due to his impeccable blend of house, infused with African culture and vibes. In 2012, ‘Buya’ was released featuring the stunning vocalist Yoshi.  The track went platinum in Africa in 2 months, bringing Black Coffee into the international spotlight. Now, Get Physical has taken the reigns and handed the track over to Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y. and Da Cappo for their remix wizardry.  

Loco Dice who has African roots spends his proceeds of the EP for the development of the new website, and the donation campaign for the Kliptown Youth Centre in Soweto, South Africa, a non-profit project that provides hope through tutoring, athletic, music and arts programs.  The returns will go to helping the heroes of the Kliptown Youth Center in Soweto, South Africa, giving kids a chance to create and express themselves whereas they might not have had that chance before. The youth is our future, and right now they need our help and support.

Carl Cox is an industry figurehead who’s legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell. Intec has been running for well over a decade and its back catalogue includes Techno focused releases that have featured artists including Christian Smith, Mark Reeve, Kevin Saunderson, Ben Sims, Pig&Dan, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber and Josh Wink. 

The label has played a large role in the careers of many artists who have worked with the label regularly, and the new Intec release is from a DJ legend who is expressing the other side of her diverse music taste. Lisa Lashes is a DJ who at the peak of her career was one of the world’s most popular club headliners, often voted one of the best club spinners in DJ Mag’s coveted World’s Top 100 DJ’s pole. 
Known for her hard and energetic sound she has translated her style into dark and twisted Techno, a style similar to artists like Adam Beyer and Sian. 

“Hell Yeah” is dancefloor focused Techno with dark atmospherics and powerful percussion. The rumbling bassline and hard hitting percussion lay a solid foundation to support the weight of the murky lead synth that’s full of menace. Powerful and dynamic, the track moves with the momentum of a freight train. 

“Women Beat Their Men” takes its title from the prominent vocal sample. Crunching claps and a rolling bassline join a punchy kick drum to form the tracks pulsating groove. Deep pads erupt in explosive bursts and add to the track's ferocious sound. Finished by the grinding tension of the breakdown, this is Techno done with style.

Dave McGoff is an Irish-born DJ who is all about providing his audience with an amazing experience through his unique brand and close engagement with the crowd. He is recognizable by his sharp colorful look.

Dave started playing in his home town of Naas and from a young age found a love for House Music. From humble beginnings in his sitting room at home spinning records, Dave has established a clear focus to produce his own tracks. His sound is best described as calming underground music with a commercial crossover, and a slightly sophisticated touch. Inspiration coming from Green Velvet, Hot Since 82, Claptone, Joris Voorn, and Dennis Cruz.

Recently, a new chapter started with Dave’s debut release on 1980 Recordings with 'Bugsy' and also releasing 'Scream' on GreatStuff. Both tracks were received very well, the former even making it into the iTunes top 10. Dave's latest release 'We Are' has gained support from the likes of Eric Morrilo, Amine Edge and DANCE and many more.

Dave McGoff has played a multitude of venues in Dublin, London and Amsterdam, including opening Electric Picnic festival and the Bacardi stage at Longitude & Indiependance Festival. Currently, Dave is running a monthly party in his home town hosting some of Irelands finest DJ's with a sprinkling of International guests all while working hard in the studio.
