Dreamlogicc - Fleetingly Jazzist (Shine Grooves Twisted Remix)

Earlier this summer I was asked by Tarik Moody to be the producer for a very special project here in Milwaukee called Unlooped vs. Dilla. The idea was to get an electronic producer together with a string quartet and perform a tribute to J Dilla. Of course I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this collaboration. Thru the experience of rehearsing and performing I met some amazing musicians who then became good friends who happen to all live in my neighborhood! (Riverwest).
One day I was working out some ideas in the studio and Allen Russell (one of the violin players) came by to grab some of his gear he left behind after the performance. We both immediately knew that he had to jump in the booth and start playing violin on the track I was working on. The following is what we came up with…..
btw, The Dilla vs. Unlooped show was amazing and we are going into the studio later this Fall to record the performance. Stay tuned and I'll post the recording.

Gypsy Ninja

This track was written in collaboration with Scott Radke a few days ago. 

Scott and I met back in Mpls in 1997 and began writing experimental electronic music together under the names Deputy and Olson & Radke. In Feb of 1998 we released our 1st record together on Hipass, a vinyl label we started on a credit card and a desire to get our music heard.

Over years we released dozen or so records together gaining a lot of momentum in Europe and here in the US. 
14 years later Scott has moved to Milwaukee and we've started writing again together. This track is an example of what we're creating.
