Founded in 2019, The Dollhouse is a cabaret synthetique / synthpop duo, consisting of classically trained musicians Catherine Camarotte and Warren Whaley.  Catherine, The Doll of The Dollhouse, is a songwriting soprano with a five-octave range, who brings her soul, funk, folk, pop, and choral roots to The Dollhouse.  Warren, The Master of The Dollhouse, is a songwriter, composer, and synthesist, who brings his synthpop, new wave, disco, classical, and film scoring experience.  The Dollhouse, furnished with a massive collection of electronic instruments, dating from the early-70s to present, offers the sounds of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Who is Dave Smith? Heck, I'm not even sure myself. But here are some of the things I've done:
Synth Programmer for many hardware and software synths (chances are you've used some of my sounds), electronic composer/musician, Ambient composer/musician, occasionally a Jazz musician. 

I have always been interested in multiple aspects of art, design, music composition and working with computers all at a very early age. In the past I was constantly exposed to many forms of art and experimented with each in order to create something unique and different. I come mainly from a graphic design background, with an emphasis of web design.and interactive multimedia. My projects involve many techniques of manipulating digital audio and imagery. I like to integrate my talents together to create unique interactive experiences for the user. My style of work primarily focuses on "techno culture" design influence along with trends in Asian and European design that are associated with this genre of art.

Ever since I can remember I have always taken great interest in technology and science, which shows in the kind of art that I create currently. As an artist I try and find new ways of creating or reinventing many different types of electronic media elements and being innovative in the process.

My passion is to produce spirit filled music that offers a bridge to the heavenly realm by being a shadow of the music being played in the heavenly dimension. I pray that the Holy Spirit guides me to echo life changing mind altering sounds that speak to the soul in ways we could never do on our own.
