Plur is an acronym made up of 4 or 5 words, peace, love unity, respect, and also responsiblility. This acronym has slowly become the definition to define ravers.
But these words are not just a saying, or a fad. They are moral and ethical subjects that all must live by to acheive peace in the world. The reason us kandi kids have adopted the term plur, is to show people our ultimate goal, world peace. But many people today do not know the meaning of plur, its just a word ravers use to fit in.
The scene has changed, but one thing everyone needs to realize is that change is inevitable. The only thing that we as kandi kids who embrase the true thought behind plur is teach the newcomers. there will be people who are close minded and do not embrase our lifstyle and one rave for the girls and drugs, but we can wtill try to show them what plur is. Explaining plur is not not something we can do. Showing plur through love and a peaceful aditude is what we need to do, no matter where we are. If you see someone broke down on the side of the road, lend a hand. If someone needs a ride and cant afford to pay a taxi, give them a ride. You may not get anything in return, but that isnt our goal. Our goal is for the world to be full of people helping one another from the goodness of our hearts.
We are the mass of people trying to change the world for the better. There will be times of doubt, i know, i too have them, until i see one random act of kindness and i remember why i am a kandi kid. to make a difference in life i would love to hear your guys thoughts on this post. I love you all.
