This is no path of roses, I know.
This road is like a crevice through which I crawl.
Every step is a name I sometimes forgot:
Fear, Betrayal, the Faces that have failed me.

And I do not walk alone. My shadows go with me:
Borrowed voices that dictated my defeats,
ghosts of a society that drowns me,
and the chill of an inheritance that drains me.

But something pushes this weary soul!
Something shatters the decree of those who judge!
A stubbornness of Light, tenacious,
that asks for no permission... and that will come.

The light is within you, do not abandon the path
In the end, a magical world you will find

The souls that love, clean of dust,
are sparks that light up the unjust world.
With the light of their hearts, they heal the wounded soul,
