When Ren and I decided to create another song, we initially thought about creating something soft and ethereal.  Then I had an idea, to create something more upbeat…and to Ren’s credit, she went with it.  Before long, we had created ‘Northern Lights’, a track that is anything but soft or slow. Northern Lights (feat. Ren Faye)

i am an electronic music maker, musicologist, and ex-dj. unless it's plunderphonics pieces or remixes/mashups (usually in a lo-fi vaporwave drag style) the music is 100% me outside of samples from shows and movies or other media sources, occasionally Shelley or Loren will lend their vocals to my tracks. 

my work with Shelley & Loren is sometimes a hybrid of original music and AI, and not just auto-generated slop, we work a lot on the pieces regardless of whether AI was used or not. they are talented musicians in their own right, and sometimes the end results are magnificent, but we're always experimenting, and the results are sometimes rough... and we do love damaged sounding recordings in any format on top of it all.
