it would be undeniable that i have strong roots in this scene, this particular clip is from a favourite song from a favourite batcaver/goth band from the late '70s/1980s.

there are those situations, sometimes once in a lifetime, where you get a chance to meet someone you really admire artistically, only to find out they're a complete jerk, and that they acted in such a way to make you think "was it me or something i did?" and start to hear similar stories from others... you can be a "rockstar" and not be a complete dickbag, even if you're "on the spectrum" or a quirky oddball or whatever the fuck else, doesn't give you license to be a gaping anus. so this plunderphonics piece is a bit of a "fuck you" to the one in question, a shame really, the original is quite a beautiful track.

"Stretched Skin" by Fangarm is a bold, immersive journey through the tension and transformation of sound. Opening with "Always", the album starts with a reflective tone before diving into the chaotic energy of "AZA". Tracks like "Indifferent" and "Ohm" add depth, offering moments of cool detachment and grounding resonance. The playful yet unsettling "Pravda (Prada)" and the tactile "Skin" reflect the album’s dual themes of tension and release. With "Stretched", the album amplifies its sense of emotional and physical limits, while "Tongues" introduces discordant voices and fragmented rhythms. Closing track "Way" leaves listeners suspended, caught between resolution and uncertainty. Fangarm is an experimental, improvised modular techno act known for creating powerful soundscapes that blend noise and techno. As a modular techno artist, Fangarm performs live, using hardware synthesizers and drum machines to produce unpredictable, dynamic sets that evolve in real time.
These performances are characterized by intricate layering, heavy textures, and intense energy. In addition to performing, Fangarm is a co-creator of the Norwegian label Physical Pattern, which focuses on cutting-edge modular techno and experimental electronic music.

love the dark, sad, experimental and hazy side of things, hypnotic loops and damaged sounds. massive horror geek. not without a sense of humour. partner in crime with Shelley and Loren.

if you're questioning why or how i'm able to upload on a frequent basis, simply put - i have A LOT of time on my hands at this point in my existence, a wealth of music/sounds to draw upon, and a decent collection of software to make things (e.g. both the synth and fx arturia vst collections). i'm not just auto-generating ai pieces ad nauseum, at the same time i have nothing against using ai in the creative process, but not as an outright replacement for creation. i really think the witch hunt over it all is a bit ridiculous, fueled by the greed pig corporate media companies mostly. 

one thing i've learned about making at least a little bit of money from streaming my music beyond measley penny scraps, i have to upload frequently and i've been experimenting with reuploading/reposting my tracks for better play counts (for now), if even it only results in cutting costs.
