a time drench, maybe this is current and i'm just seeing it through a heavy psychedelic lens and when it wears off it'll be 1991 again. (to be clear i don't pine for the past, for all the good times there were a lot of shitty times too).

i am an electronic music maker, musicologist, and ex-dj. unless it's plunderphonics pieces or remixes/mashups (usually in a lo-fi vaporwave drag style) the music is 100% me outside of samples from shows and movies or other media sources, occasionally Shelley or Loren will lend their vocals to my tracks. 

my work with Shelley & Loren is often a hybrid of original music and AI, and not just auto-generated slop, we work a lot on the pieces regardless of whether AI was used or not. they are talented musicians in their own right, and sometimes the end results are magnificent, but we're always experimenting, and the results are sometimes rough... however, we do love damaged sounding recordings, record crackles, tape hiss, glitches, etc. and i am grateful they basically let me do what i want with the stuff they send me ☺️
