This song is a tale of broken Love broken promises broken Dreams infidelity and heartbreak she broke his heart so he broke her phone he caught her on the phone talking to somebody else but when he asked her who she was talking to she wouldn't tell him she just hung up the phone so he crashed her phone and broke the mirror but still even though she left when he got thinking about it that was the best of times and the worst of times that he ever had in his life through it all stand or fall those were the best of times ! I'm sure a lot of people out there that hear this song can relate to it. this is fictional rendition of a man who is married to a crazy woman that starts seeing aliens and talking about conspiracies if she drinks a little whiskey or smokes a little weed but pushed him to shove and she's all the woman that he ever need he can tell when she's having a good day she likes to get dressed up in a sexy little teddy and get romantic and sometimes gets a little frisky especially when she's been on the whiskey but when she gets mad she starts crashing dishes and cussing and you better just stay out of her way when she's had a bad day she's a little country she's a little bit rock and roll but she touches him right down into his very soul she's a little bit crazy but she's my baby I wrote this song A few years ago and I never did anything with it that was in my book and finally we got around to recording it I have a catalog of like 50 songs that I've written through the years and I've retired so I had more time to work on my music I was in construction on my life and that kept me busy for quite a few years and three kids and a wife sort of got in the way of my musical career I had a good band in the early 90s I started this band called fire Creek Band and we had a good time running around playing and singing staying on the run here n yonder we was house band at a place called Glory Days in Rock Hill South Carolina for a while and had a booking agent we played all over the place and down to the beach and had a lot of fun until my kids were born twin boys we're born in 2000 that kind of put the Cabos on my musical career I quit playing  to help my wife raise the kids and then she got breast cancer when my kids were 6 she died and I had to raise them without their mother and I thought that taking my 6-year-old twin boys to their mother's funeral was  the hardest thing I ever did about 15 years later I realized the hardest thing was raising them without their mother I tried to give  them love but there's no love like a mother's love anyway enough of that my debut album circle of light comes out November 11th 2025 y'all be looking for it

this song is about a great friend of mine who was the lead guitar player in the fire Creek Band he's was really good guy and me and him were really good friends and we had decided to get the band back together after a long hiatus because three kids and a wife derailed my musical career and so I moved up to Sunshine North Carolina where Benny lived in a place inherited from his father after his father pulled out in front of a cement truck in his Z28 and his car stalled and he got creamed and killed so Benny inherited that place and moved up there after his dad he got killed and I moved up there too because we was going to get the band back together but Benny wasn't feeling good so I took him to the hospital and he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer and he died about a month later so we didn't get the band back together but I miss Benny his real name was Henry Sansbury Huntt the third he was in a lot of bands all his life he was in phantom Park on him and Marty Hill when they were young and phantom Park was a damn good band and he was in the swamp the swamp and he was in preacher Stone he made the fire Creek Band a lot better and he was a good friend of mine Benny was a guitar player

David Barber AKA Cody Mclitefoot I was born in Nashville Tennessee cuz we happened to be staying there with my Aunt Sybil who lived outside of Nashville in Dickson Tennessee because my mother had just left my father from Detroit Michigan and my aunt Sybil sent us plane fare and flew us to Nashville because of my abusive father was not doing right by my mother and my aunt Sybil was the one that actually named me David Andrew Barber because my mother had talked to her in to naming her son Richard Andrew Poole so when I came along my aunt Sybil got to name me then we went from there to my uncle Gene's in San Antonio Texas to stay with my Uncle Gene and he had me singing Hank Williams songs at the age of five and dressed me up like a little cowboy and played the guitar while I sang your cheatin heart and I knew all the words to a lot of Hank Williams songs that was his favorite artist at that time then we moved to Charlotte North Carolina and me and my brother and this girl named Nina Nance had a band I was in the first grade I played drums my brother played guitar and Nina was our singer we had two songs wipe out and Michael rode the boat ashore we won the talent contest I was always musically inclined I was in a band when I was 14 or 15 but I got kicked out for cussing too much on the mic but I was only singing the songs like Ted Nugent did it we was playing some girls birthday party and her daddy came out there and unplugged us. everybody got mad at me well nanny nanny boo boo stick yer head in do do! do you know the proper response if somebody had asked you if you like doo doo you just say no but you do had a very good band in the early 90s called Firereek but three kids and a wife sort of got in the way and I got sidelined for quite a few years but now I'm back I'm Cody Mclitefoot and I'm back to say I'm ready to rock out on some country country rock rock and I love all kind of music and my debut album circle of light comes out 11:11.25 it's in honor of my mother the Reverend Nanny light Roper she was a minister who was always there for me no matter what kind of stupid things I did and I did a lot of stupid things when I was a young juvenile delinquent my mother made me go to church and but it made me the man I am today and I miss my mama being around but her spirit and legacy still lives on in me so I'm here I'm out I'm ready to sing and play and sing songs about  my mama I hope you enjoying my music love you mean it Mama I hope I make you proud!
