Had a great day reconnecting with my father and hiking to one of my favorite spots in Mt Shasta, Heart Lake. It overlooks Castle Lake and the view of Black Butte and Mt Shasta couldn't be beat. We came up to this place to record our addition to the 'Multiverse Bubble Skipping' Virtual Burning Man Processional Band project. We prepare for the playa each year hiking and biking to get in shape and also to get used to the heat of the desert. This was a good ritual remembering those times and reconnecting with the set and setting to our annual pilgrimage to the playa. 

On the hike we remembered how we used to hike during Boy Scout trips and how we used to gallop down the hillside at points. So it was only fitting when MacGyver (my fathers Playa name) started to gallop down the mountain we christened him with the addition to his playa name. Here is to the magic and collective effervescence that we experience at Black Rock City.

Deep Playa Wonderings 2020 - Opening Ceremony 

As we mourn the loss of Burning Man this year in these turbulent times, let us hope that this turmoil our world is in can be a catalyst for change. Now let's all pool our mutual focus and put our "Attention to the Right Direction".

I was blessed to have a visit from the Playa Choir director, Madi. We facilitate  our burner magic in the default world, it just will look a little different. May you find the magic of the playa in new ways, abrazos...

Attention to the Right Direction - Deep Playa Wonderings 2020

Spent a beautiful afternoon of music and friendship with Jean-Marie and friends celebrating who new sanctuary space of a tepee on her property that Greg built for her. As dedicated the space with friendship and music we choose to perform a song inside of the tepee with the intention of "Good Vibes for people who need it" in these turbulent times.

May this space always inspire good vibes!
