UFOs en invierno...(2019/2020)

tonights sound meditation (desde el Giant Orange Pouf) inspiration is drawn from my moonlit walk home tonight through Sisson Meadow. I made an intentional, slow, & deliberate walk through the raised platform walk way. Pausing when the light was wayning between tree branches, pausing for the sound of the ducks and geese in the pond wrestling about as I slowly disturbed their peaceful preseance. Here is to slow and deliberate walks through nature (even on a full moonlit evening). Enjoy these precious "stolen moments".....Buenas Noches!

Moonlit Inspiration

I feel like I have crossed another 'threshold' in my dissertation research & plan. I want to specifically thank these people who have helped talk me off of a 'ledge' and helped facilitate me to crossing this 'threshold'. As we all go through our struggles in life, sometimes we need to escape a moment from reality and create an "asylum" for well being. I have been digging in deepely on Tia DeNora's book "Music Asylums: Wellbeing through music in everyday life." With this concept, we can create a place where we can find "respite, relief, recovery of self, time out from social spaces where one needs to perform/act".
