Artiste de Montréal, Banator, de son vrai nom , Patrick Crochetière débuta la musique par amour pour celle-ci. Après ses deux premiers projets, gagnant en popularité , il vit sa carrière prendre une toute autre tournure avec des collaborations d’artistes renommés de la scène hip hop québécoise , tels que Cobna , Dubherman , St-saoul , Max pain , Narkoi et bien d’autres. En 2011 , Banator, sorti son premier street album, J’ai eu La force de me relever. Après avoir sorti son quatrième opus , Parole du cœur qui connu un succès immense avec son vidéoclip On fait la fête, Banator fit la connaissance des studios Hotbox de Montréal. 2013 fut pour lui, l’année révélatrice. Effectivement , il prit la décision d’enregistrer son album :Quand La Musique Parle, produit par Sebastien Riscalla. L’artiste demeure très actif sur sa chaîne youtube qui brise le million de visionnements. Le 27 Mai 2014, Banator nous offrira un album de tonnerre comprenant 22 titres, mélangeant, amour , tristesse , rage et solitude. Quand la musique parle.

Growing up in The Valley, I showed interest in music ever since I could make sound -began as a singer, then trombone player in middle school band, later transitioning to guitar playing soon after.
I received an 8 track recording box for my 13th birthday marking the transition into my teenage years.
I began playing rock and blues, studying bands such as Incubus, Thrice, and Linkin Park - as well as John Mayer and Eric Clapton.
After a few attempts with more mainstream music, I joined a progressive/metal band as lead guitar player and songwriter.
Like many local High School bands, we had a great run and played many shows and parties, but that came to an end.

In college, I fell back in love with athletics and became a state champion athlete. I studied music history, sight singing and reading, electronic music, multiple pro tools and recording classes and more. I ended up graduating with a Bachelors of Art from U.C Berkeley in 2015.

I have now returned back to Los Angeles where I have a studio setup and all plenty of time to study, write, and produce high quality music that unites the musical styles that helped developed me into the person I have become.

je pense qu'il est important que je vous parle un peu de Tin-Tin j'ai l'air un peu sorti de nulle part comme ça mais ça fait longtemps que j'écris ça fait j'aurais pu sortir il y a 10 ans déjà mais c'était pas vraiment mon goût et j'avais pas le support que j'espérais. J'étais un bad boy bad boy au cœur d'or et on sait que ça ne toff pas dans ce domaine là. Ensuite j'ai rencontré l'amour j'y ai vraiment cru que c'était la bonne qu'avec elle j'avais des enfants. J'avais laissé un peu la musique de côté pour l'amour mais ce qu'elle m'a fait  subir ben je vais me rappeler pour la vie. Et c'est encore la musique qui m'a aidé à m'en sortir parce que des bout j'ai vraiment voulu mourir.  J'ai beaucoup écrit pendant 5 ans me voilà aujourd'hui pour en finir d'un vieux rêve pas fini et aussi parce que je crois que c'est ça la vraie vie. Pour aimer travailler on dit qu'il faut faire ce qu'on aime pour moi c'est ça que j'aime faire de la musique. Je crois avoir le talent pour y arriver alors s'il vous plaît aidez-moi à vivre ce que j'aime merci beaucoup je vous aime pour votre support. Avec moi pas de bullshit, juste du vrai il est peut-être temps pour le Québec d'avoir des vraies vedettes et pas des des gars qui vont vendre le cul de votre sœurs...  montrez-moi qu'au Québec on voit plus que ça.
