From over the hills and far away, the cobblers and their boots are here to stay. The sartorial scallywags return with another collection of kaleidoscopic, Italo-tinged party pleasers.
First off the block, London royalty Super Drama team up with homeboy Kayroy for ‘Something New’, a cut of propulsive glitterball synth-funk, with just the right amount of cowbell.
Next up, Italy’s Disco Mortale and Futuristant take us for a tour of the dark side, with cyborg vocoders and cyberpunk arpeggios painting a vivid dreamscape of neon and steel. ‘Until Forever’ flirts the line
between sinful and sincere, abandoning you to the rise of the machines, and a dance-off to the death!
Flip that wax and step on the gas because Gabto reunites with collaborator Kauan Marco for the colossally cool ‘Ki Ko Ho’. These brilliant Brazilians have delivered a bonafide gem, complete with drums that hit you in all the right places, and a killer synthesiser solo - brilliant stuff.

Aural Trace is the solo project of Berlin-based Chilean musician and producer Manuel Ortuzar, half of Random Atlas duo and co-founder of the record label Odd Pleasures. His signature driving and emotional sound finds a way to always present itself seamlessly blending influences from New Beat, Post Punk, Italo Disco and Techno resulting in energetic, dark and introspective music, combined with uplifting cinematic soundscapes, giving to the VA an slashy and haunting-raw edge.

Alone atop a lighthouse, watching and listening to interferences oscillating upon the asphalt, we reflect about our pasts, our futures… Our complex story begins in winter 1974, an intense adventure with M.

“Ruines, Béton & Industrie” follows the 30-years-old friendship between Guillaume and Andrew. They met in Grenoble, the French techno city, home of The Hacker, Kittin and Etant Donnés. They also discovered rave culture together. It took almost 20 years before they recorded their first song. Between reality and the digital realm, they started to record, compose, write and exchange what would become this LP around 2020.

Bordeaux-based, Guillaume works as an artist plastician and sound performer. He is known for his project The Garçon and performs under the moniker Po.Go.
Berlin-based, Andrew spends most of his time there and in his studio in Bretagne, France. He is part of the electronic Disco band called Acid Washed and has collaborated with Patti Smith and Jean Michel Jarre.

Andrew and Guillaume incessantly travelled back-and-forth between Berlin and Bordeaux, communicating via email, to create this record. LPS founder Assaf, first encountered Andrew in the local Berlin scene and was astonished by his eclectic variety of electronic music; the type of art that fits the label like a glove. Beyond their sonic adventures, the duo inspired Assaf to rekindle his ‘not so hands-on’ virtues and express visual reverence, creating the album’s artwork.

The essence of human, in his amazing ability to get used to everything. There is nothing in nature that man is not used to. Neither the horse, nor the dog, nor the mouse possess such a property. Probably, God, creating a person, guessed what torment he dooms, and gave him a huge supply of strength and patience. It's hard to say whether this is good or bad. If a person hadn’t had such patience and endurance, all kind people would have died long ago, and evil and soulless would have remained in the world. On the other hand, the habit of tolerating and adapting turns people into dumb animals, which, apart from anatomy, do not differ from animals and even surpass them in defenselessness.
Caracas born and Berlin based Alejandro Molinari make his reappearance on Barcelona's Playground Records with his new 3 tracks 'Santo Ritmo' EP.
The titule 'Santo Ritmo' track makes honor to its name and leave the matters to the dancefloor. An electro bass marks the hook of the track. A distant voice is distorted in the background. The terrain gets rough. An acid synth cuts the air and the song explote inviting to a furious dancing.
