Takiyah Cotton (born May 10th 1991), better known by her stage name Kiyah, she's an American r&b/hip hop recording artist. Cotton was born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois, where she found her passion for writing music along with singing, later discovering  her rapping talents. During this time she began recording features and later started her own project. As her skill as a songwriter developed she began to take music more serious in 2016, recording her EP called "4:13".
