David Deuce is a 34 year old hip hop artist, drone pilot & audio engineer from Raleigh, NC. Deuce started rapping in 2007, when he and a few friends were robotripping one night, and the instrumental for Lil Wayne's 'Tha Mobb' came on and he was able to remember & rap every word to it (disclosure: He has a Young Money Entertainment tattoo, knows the words to the majority of Lil Wayne's songs from the Squad Up days up to his newest album, Funeral, and has been featured on a few Young Money collaborative mixtapes through DatPiff (I believe) in the past. It's safe to say Weezy F. is his biggest inspiration in music) For their FIRST show, he (Deuce) paid $250 to a promotions company to let three members of FMP (Deuce, Chadillac, & JCapps) open for Shawty-Lo at the Kinston Drag Strip, in front of 500+ people, where the three of them were the only white rappers in the hours long show (out of 22 acts total). His adrenaline was running so high due to his inexperience & the crowd size, he blacked out the entire performance and does not remember being on stage at all, just walking towards it before beginning & stepping off of it after they finished the set. Based on the reaction to them before they performed vs. after, I can proudly speculate that the crowds expectations were surpassed (or possibly there was a general consensus that these three white 19 year old rappers had some set of balls for coming to a ganglife city like Kinston and rapping on the same stage as Shawty-Lo in front of a sea of red)🤯
