Seagull surprised me with this lovely song as a gift for my 70th birthday, featuring his playing on acoustic guitar, and likening our friendship and musical comradery to a "walk in the morning dew".  I was beyond honored:)  Then the thought occurred to him, "what if Ed, Dan, Peter, and David joined me on my walk?"  Peter's words set the stage comparing our friendship (and lasting friendship in general) to fine gold "hewn from so much more than mere common ground"  Ed's gorgeous electric guitar defines the melody, Dan's synths and Clara's vocals add depth and emotion, and I get to decorate an already beautiful production in the left and right channels.  It is now a magnificent 70th birthday gift, enriched by my musical bond and friendship with these fine artists, and one I want to share with you dear listener. I am a finger-style guitarist living on the Texas high plains.  At the core of my music is melody that is inspired and informed by my Christian faith, family, friends, and countless influences through the years from the great composers, to jazz, folk, rock, Latin, Celtic, and the many fine musicians I have come to love on the Cloud, some I have been privileged to collaborate with. I love creative music.  Music helps us to have good times, so necessary in the day to day. I hope my music fulfills that end.
  

Love many kinds of music, try myself to bring out some spiritual and soulful tunes to reflect or simply to have fun in producing. Doing nightshifts so sometimes if I can focus and "enjoy" and when its a silent night I can listen halfway carefully or in the morning I repeat and hear via headphones without interrupt and in a very relaxed mood, often till my handy fell on my face 

As a composer, I am fortunate to have collaborated with incredibly talented artists from SoundCloud. This includes my latest album with the truly extraordinary soprano Maribel Villarroel and the masterful arranger and pianist René Calderón for 'Canciones para Pablo Neruda.' These songs are based on the poems of the great Pablo Neruda, and permission has been granted by the Pablo Neruda Foundation. Please listen, Maribel is a tour de force and her and René's interpretation of Neruda and these songs is so heartfelt. I am so deeply moved and appreciative of their artistry.

Other albums are 'Entre Jupiter y Marte,' and 'Reflections.' The remarkable tenor Ricardo Tamura, accompanied by the accomplished pianist Lucy Arner, performed 'Entre Jupiter y Marte'. Ricardo and Lucy are both amazing. These songs were co-written with the acclaimed author Antonio Skarmeta, which is my most special and dear honor. 'Reflections' is a collection of my earlier works that were wonderfully interpreted by the gifted pianist Javier Gonzales.

Additionally, these albums are accompanied by musical scorebooks filled with beautiful art, created by great Chilean, American, and Japanese artists. These books, with the same titles as the albums, are available on Amazon.com.  'Canciones para Pablo Neruda" has been registered with the Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio de Chile.

Another special collaboration among many is with Paul-Maurice Roche, the incredible pianist and composer.  Thank you for taking a song to new levels of nuance and emotion.

The púca, meaning 'goblin', can be malevolent or benevolent and is not solely associated with Halloween. It's a mythological fairy and the ultimate shapeshifter, capable of appearing in a variety of forms but most commonly as a dark horse or part dog.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the Winter Solstice occurs on 21 or 22 December, when the sun shines directly over the tropic of Capricorn. At sunrise on the shortest day of the year, for 17 minutes, direct sunlight can enter the Newgrange monument, not through the doorway, but through the specially contrived small opening above the entrance known as the ‘roof box’, to illuminate the Chamber.
