Fascinated.  An audio documentary to me, as I think was intended.  Awed that, conceptually, you guys can work as one on such a creation.  And intrigued that such a dramatic soundscape seems somehow so appropriate in depicting a world that, as far as I know, had no “music”.  In fact, aside from the occasional mountain blowing to smithereens or meteor crash scorching half the earth, was probably pretty quiet.  Anyway, plan to tune in on the continuing series….I’m assuming your guitar musings, David, will emerge around the time humanity stumbles upon the concept of “sin”…. :)

ha ha! what a nice coincidence - first, I've been on SC much less lately and have some catching up to do on some of the SC artists I admire. That brought me here, and scrolling down the list of recent songs, I came across this one, which is a funny coincidence with the latest one I just posted with the Eclectic Collective guys. But coincidences aside, I'm so blown away by these song series you keep putting out - some outstanding artists to collaborate with, and always very thoughtful themes to pour your huge guitar talent into. Keep doing what you're doing!

We begin our new song series "A Shared Horizon--We Solve Most Things If We Talk". 
Have you ever thought about humanity and its so-called progress and development through all the millennia on our fantastic little globe, floating on its spiral path around our sun, in the infinity around us. 
Our little "international band" did that for a period of time, and our conversations and thoughts gave birth to music and lyrics. And this music and lyrics became a little story, in 5 parts, which we want to share with you all by publishing a part of the story every week. 
So we wish you all a pleasant experience and listening as you journey with us these next few weeks:)  First song of the series: "Ancient Man, Calm Stream"
Many thousands of years ago, our ancestors lived here on our little globe. Did they have any idea of the future..... and if so what was "future" for them? "Tomorrow, next week, or next year?" Did they even have a word for future? Or was life exclusively about developing and expanding the group and getting food for the day? Or did they, too, have other goals and meaning with their lives?

Of primal cravings, fears and needs.

I am a finger-style guitarist living on the Texas high plains.
