A wonderful soundscape my friends; a magical fusion of instruments and voice. The three introductory notes confuse me a bit, and I fear I have not fully grasped the meaning of the lyrics, which are also written in very refined English. Certainly, my point of view is that of a non-believer, and therefore I would never attribute to God the responsibility for the catastrophic coexistence among human beings, still at the heart of the third millennium…

A really super sounding track. The instrumentation really works well with the spoken lyric. A terrific collaboration.

Our little band has been busy over the summer months working on songs for a fall release.  Perhaps one of the most spiritual songs we have written and published, "Web of Circles" may be for some controversial. How responsible are we for the evil that has come upon the world, for the resultant suffering it has brought.  
Many want to blame God when a look in the mirror may reveal a more likely cause; sins of omission are just as real as sins of commission.  Peter's beautiful words begin with an act of redemption for mankind, but end with judgement not by God's choice, but man's will. 
The words did not come easily as Peter confesses that his pen "hovered above the last line for several minutes" not wanting to write it, but with a prophet's conviction, knew it must be written. The question is begged by those who will to believe, is there beauty in God's judgement and justice? The beauty of the song would have me think so.  Peter's verse has never been more poignant or Seagull's production more finely crafted. His track note also offers further insight into our thinking on the song and is well worth reading.
