The fragility of the possibility of love. It can be difficult to come out of ourselves and share ourselves with another and finding the right balance to know not to trust something too good on the one hand, and on the other hand, not to be afraid of our own fear and to learn to comfortably match to each other's rhythm.

On the River bank a CRONE she squats and waits to collect the toll to cross the bridge that's built of blood and bones and ropes of soul.

She says "I'll have your finger or your toe or a small percentage of your soul. If you refuse i'll take it all. It's up to you, It's just like life, you can't go back, You MUST go through!!

What an honor to be invited to collaborate with ace guitarist, composer, and producer Seagull to create a moving tribute and memorial to the people of Ukraine; those who have been displaced, those who chose to remain, those who have perished in the senseless, needless war, especially the children. This piece plays beneath the unspoken parts of “While They Were Sleeping.” It’s the sound of childhood folding in on itself. The toys are still in the room. The drawings are still on the wall. But the boy is no longer a boy.

“Childhood Lost” is for the moment you realize no one is coming to save you. That you’ve already grown up in the quiet. That the magic didn’t leave all at once it just faded in corners no one ever dusted.

The melody is soft. But it hurts. Like a music box that still plays, even after the child is gone.
