 AfterBurn is a hard rock band hailing from Long Island, New York. 
 AfterBurn was born from fire and flame, by founding member Joseph Martin, inspired by his fire fighter career with the New York City Fire Department, not long after the events of September 11th. 
 In 2011, Rich Appenzeller, who also was a firefighter in NYC, joined the band, giving the band it's nickname by other artists and fans as the Rock & Roll Firefighters, and the name stuck.
 In 2016, AfterBurn's drummer joined the group, and played on his first professional studio recording at the age of 15. (Excuse My Demons, 2016)
