Strings for Ammo formed around mid-2012 in Brisbane, Australia.  We met at various Jam nights in and around the city and after a few writing sessions decided to form the band.  Since then we've been collaborating with friends nationally and internationally, sharing creative thoughts and opportunities whilst introducing fresh ideas into our own sound.  It's hard to depict exactly what genre best describes our music as Rock, Folk, Reggae and Irish Traditional styles all heavily influence the work. What is easy for us to decipher is that we want our fans to enjoy catchy, uplifting music that will hopefully make you feel a little bit more optimistic about things after listening… If you weren’t feeling that way already!

We've been working pretty tirelessly and vigorously since 2012 to fund our musical ventures, whatever they may have been.  Next up for us it's a national, then international tour on the back of our debut album, "Leave your Judgement at the Door" released on February 3rd.

Hopefully we'll see you at a show sometime soon,
