20 Uñas es el alter ego musical de Sandra Zegarra Patow, una DJ y artista interdisciplinaria nacida en Lima y criada en Róterdam. Su práctica artística navega entre la fotografía, el mix media y la música, como una manera de explorar identidad, memoria y pertenencia.

Comenzó a mezclar en 2020, durante una residencia artística en Perú en plena pandemia. Fue ahí donde entendió que la música era una extensión natural de su narrativa visual y su necesidad de conectar con sus raíces. Su sonido es un collage emocional de cumbia psicodélica, lo-fi, reggaetón, Baile Funk, Guaracha, Neo Perreo y beats experimentales.

20 Uñas no se limita a géneros. Su práctica rompe fronteras—geográficas, sonoras y culturales—y propone una experiencia sensorial que celebra el cuerpo, la herencia y el presente colectivo. A través de la música, 20 Uñas se descubre a sí misma y crea espacios donde la comunidad latina en la diáspora puede sentirse vista, escuchada y celebrada.

20 Uñas is the Alter Ego of Sandra Zegarra Patow, a Peruvian-born, Rotterdam-raised interdisciplinary artist. Her work flows between photography, mixed media, and music, always rooted in themes of identity, memory, and belonging.

She began DJing in 2020 while on an artist residency in Peru during lockdown, where she realized that music could express what images alone could not. Her sets are emotional collages blending psychedelic Cumbia, lo-fi, reggaetón, Baile Funk, Guaracha, Neo Perreo, and experimental beats.

20 Uñas doesn’t stick to genres. Her approach is borderless—geographically, culturally, and sonically—offering sensory experiences that celebrate heritage, movement, and collective presence. Through music, she continues to explore who she is, while creating space for the Latinx diaspora to feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
