Jered Sanders is an artist who is able to lyrically hopscotch through rhymes and flows. His clever metaphors and witty observances compliment a rhyme scheme that few could match let alone live up to. However, that is only a small portion of who he is an artist.

The VA by way of Florida rhymesayer, began his love affair with Hip Hop in elementary school. He was driven by his adoration for 2Pac to move toward the mic by the time he entered High School. But it would be a completely different calling on his life, that would once again cause Jered to switch up the verbage that he spit as well as the way in which he delivered it.

After the widely acclaimed success of his 2013 debut EP, "While You Were Waiting" a metamorphosis took place within Jered. In 2014, Jered became a youth minister for his church and found himself thinking about how he could be a better representation of a leader for the kids. Knowing in his heart that he could do better than what he had previously been flooding the streets with, he decided to pull his former style of Hip Hop out of his repertoire and totally devote himself to crafting a new way of spitting that encouraged instead of assassinated. He followed his transition with his debut and sophomore full lengths, Daylight Savings Time and Hope Is Dope.

So, what’s next in the cards for the Rapzilla Freshman? That chapter is yet to be written.

DTC has made a clear-cut decision on whom they will serve, the God of the Bible. “We devote our writin’ – our rhyme, our life and our time, we’re brides of the Christ, our eyes on the prize, our sight on the skies…” With lyrics taken from a self-titled track to solidify their stance, B.L.A.D.E. (Blending Lyricism And Divine Exhortation) and Erupt ONE are two sold-out individuals committed to honoring the Lord with life and music.

DTC has a three step philosophy:
D – Devote our lives wholly to God and commit ourselves, using our God given talents and gifts to honoring God and ministering through hip-hop to a lost and dying culture. 
Matthew 6:24 
T – Teach Jesus Christ and edify the body of Christ with the saving grace of our Lord.
Ephesians 4:12-13
C – Compel the hip-hop culture and teenage generation to accept the offer of Christ and his salvation and present to the world a talent that God has created, distorted by Satan, but rebirthed in this group of believers.

Understanding the interest and the influence of hip-hop, DTC has taken the word of God and introduced hip-hop to it. Taking root in 1999, this duo was being groomed to share a burden for those trapped in the bondages of secular hip-hop. With the desire to be ministers, not just rappers, DTC has begun to expand beyond the microphone, laying the foundation with Devote.Teach.Compel, the parent ministry that exists to disciple its participants and send them out to accomplish the Great Commission through various avenues.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.” 1 Tim 4:12-16
