Lisbon native Pedro Aguiar has been impressing with his timeless compositions that resonate all over the globe for with their technical quality and indisputable originality.

Initially Pedro caught the attention of label heads Silicone Soul, with the sublime deepness of of his Broque single, 'Breakfast in Bali'. A track that became a massive favourite throughout the long hot summer of 2012. Fast forward to 2015 and his much anticipated debut album 'Landscapes & Heartbreaks' is primed and ready for release on Darkroom Dubs. (Out 25th May).

The record showcases Pedro's rich musical pallet for organic textural synthesis and granular wizardry. It's also remarkably the first vinyl LP release for Darkroom Dubs label. Always a challenging format, Landscapes & Heartbreaks is an electronic album in the true sense.
To wet the appetite and as a precursor to the long-player, we present a more club-orientated four track EP 'Land Of The Lost'...

With releases on labels like Truesoul, Inside, Drumcode, H-productions and Cocoon (to name a few…) Joel has made people dance all over the world. "It's You" is one of the most intense titles of Of Norway's 2014 album "Accretion", that we why we have chosen it for our remix contest with Beatport. We have received amazing results, however these three titles we have chosen as winners as each of them gave the track a wonderful new direction.

The grand winner Just Emma, chosen by Of Norway, turned it into a massive Tech-House bomb which will create mayhem on the floor.

Second winning remix was delivered by Despite, who created an amazing deep and floating trip. Really stand-out.

To round up the release we have chosen as third winner Eigengrau's very unique interpretation, a super sweet electronica version.

After releasing his debut single via UK taste-maker electronic label Black Butter, which went on to receive extensive airplay on all BBC Stations in the UK and support throughout Europe, the Swedish singer, multi instrumentalist and producer went on to release the next single "Turn Around" via Italian electronic label Life & Death. The single, accompanied by the original track "Boys & Girls" and remix by German producer duo Âme, soon made its way across dancelfoors and sets across the globe.

"In a lot of ways I escape in music," explains Sjodin. "It's a world where I feel home, where life is quite easy, where I can explore sides of me I didn't knew existed."

As the string-swept power balladry of "Tough Love" bleeds into the beatific melodrama of last year's "Turn Around", the tense, slow-burning summit of "Sweat" rises. The latter is Sailor & I's latest deep cut, the lead-off listen from an EP that also manages to turn a classic Joy Division track ("Disorder") on its head. Faithfully mind you, as a blank, drum-less canvas is coated in cold-pressed keys and a strictly '80s setup.

"I'm a bit terrified by the force of music," explains Sjodin, "and what it turns me into in the long run. Will it slow down eventually or will it go the other direction and make me insane? I have no idea, but I feel that it’s very important to keep exploring what is behind those invisible doors."

Ran Salman's music contains deep and fat bass lines, together with elements from disco, funk, classic house and vocals while combining a fresh sound with his own personal style. Shlomi Biton is known for his Nu Disco releases and is launching his new alias with this release. For this track they joined forces and made a warm, bass driven track with great sounding synths and a warm atmosphere all over the track. This track is perfect for peak time moments but also fits perfectly in the after hour.

On remix duty we have the amazingly talented Kris Davis. This fast rising producer gives his own interpretation to the original. And we think he does it in a unique style that shows why he is one of the guys to keep an eye on.
