This piece is based on audio recordings of a turning discoball motor and a waving sheet from silk. With light digital processing and manipulation, the composition emphasizes the differences and similarities of the two sound sources, the electric drone, and the tactile rubbing.By organizing the samples into a dramaturgy of frequencies in bricks and lines, the work creates a dialogue between a motor and cloth, between hard and soft, between the device and product.

Played at Stegi radio, Radio forest Klankenbos, We Are Various Radio and is part of project so the red rose by Fred&Ferry Gallery

Materials: white stoneware, fabric and sound system. Sound installation created in collaboration with Raphael Tiberghien, presented at the Nuit Blanche in Évry-Courcouronnes, (91) Fr.

Sound creation (10'20) based on analog synthesizers, variations and rhythmic microphones. The idea was to play with and compose around the resonance of ceramic forms
to reveal a labyrinthine, infra-world sound journey.

Das Stück nimmt die gleichnamige englische Phrase wörtlich und so habe ich befreundete Künstlerinnen und Künstler gebeten, mir ihr Ohr zu leihen und mir Aufnahmen zu schicken von Orten, die sie an ihrem Lebensort hören. Entstanden ist  eine multiperspektivischen (Traum)Reise durch Philadelphia, London, Brüssel, Hong Kong und Kairo geht. Mit Beiträgen von Charles Kwong, Natalia Orendain, David Helbich, Jacqueline George und amicus e. quorum.

Meli Mena has produced two high-energy club gems with break influences and IDM resonances: "Hot Girls Get Sad" and "SideQuest Nap."

They both released the already famous 140 bpm club anthem "Dust Drip," which has destroyed many dancefloors all over the world.

All these tracks got the Maoupa Mazzocchetti special analog treatment; he also gifted us with a strong remix of "SideQuest Nap" from our dear Meli Mena."
