Welcome to EP-145 of the NDYD Radio Show. This week we have a special guest mix from NDYD's friend Jørn Sørheim (@jornsorheim).

Jørn started djing in -97 and got his fist residency as a 19 year old in -99 in central Stockholm, Sweden. His main venues included places like Soap Bar, Calle P and No.18. Since then Jørn has been djing at all the major venues in Stockholm.

He is mainly influenced by legendary artists like Depeche Mode, U2, Stevie Wonder and Prince as well as a variety of modern indie artists.
Through a balanced technique where consideration for both environment and artistry and modern creativity is accounted for – Sørheim joins the old and the new in a modern cocktail of styles – handmade for the venue. In the bar – this is often represented by modern r’n’b, indie/nu-disco and deep house classics. On the dancefloor – by a more electronic clubsound.

As a DJ Jørn represents creativity through classic sounds. A creativeness primarily made through a pair of classic vinyl turntables rather than the latest in dj tech.

Welcome to EP-146 of the NDYD Radio Show. This week we have Mr Bootsauce out of Los Angeles coming back to the program for his second appearance. He was one of our original guest when he did EP-12 two years ago. A lot has happen since then as he has blown up in terms of his productions and DJing. 

Fueled by phat infectious grooves, and influenced by nostalgic retro ranging from Prince to Faith No More, Mr. Bootsauce is determined to craft the next joint to deliver sweat on the dance floor. 

Born & raised in Montreal with a healthy upbringing as a drummer in jazz fusion, rock and soul - his thirst to craft timeless songs is what keeps his wheels turning. "No matter where music takes me, I always wanna feel as if I'm barely scratching the surface. Music has taught me a lot, and I know that I have something cool to offer back thanks to all the music and artists I've worked with in the past years." 

Recently evolving in Los Angeles, Mr. Bootsauce continues to challenge his curiosity while raising the bar in wide ranges of house music mixed with some little flavors of funk & nu-disco.

Kaysoul music is influenced by the sound designs of the likes of Fred Everything, Jimpster, Leon Vynehall, Larry Head, Theo Parrish to name a few. My style of music production has a mixture of deep house mixed with a bit of African sounds and elements. 

Kaysoul band was founded in the year 2010 and I developed love for music production and Dj’ing. I taught myself to make beats with the use of Fruity Loops 8, 9 and 10. And I also taught myself how to DJ. 

In the year 2014 I had my first release with an international label from USA owned by Oscar P. 

The record was titled Kaysoul - She Cares (Original Mix) which came out on Afro Rebel Music. Following this release, I released my second single on Kingdom Digital Music (USA) titled “Kaysoul - Pride Aside (Original Mix) which got played on Metro FM. 

The year 2015 I collaborated with Deep Montage on 2 EP’s titled “Deep Montage & Kaysoul - The Rhythm Ep which was released on Arrecha Records (Amsterdam) and another titled Deep Montage & Kaysoul - First Coat Ep released on D.M Recordings (UK) and the two releases got some good exposure and plays. 

And two tracks taken from the First Coat Ep got featured on a Soul Candi Records compilation titled “Deep House Chronicles Vol. 10 compiled by DJ Brian Blaq “Deep Montage & Kaysoul - Oscillation and Deep Montage - Dancing Underground. 

2016: I released an Ep on Society 3.0 Recordings (Germany) titled “Deep Montage & Kaysoul - The Illusion Ep” this is the 3 tracker Ep, this Ep was played and supported by the likes of DJ Rocco, Vinny Da Vinci and DJ Christos. 

In the year 2017 I got an opportunity to do a guest mix for Ibiza Live Radio from Spain.

My music was supported and played by the likes of Lay-Far, Lars Behrenroth, DJ Angelo, Djeff Afrozzila, Kid Fonque, Ndinga Gaba, Rocco, Ralf Gum, D-Malice, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Christos, Igor Gonya and many more.

Enrique aka Big Pack is resident of Mexico City and founder of House Salad Music, He is the mastermind behind a series of mixes that feature DJs from all over the globe on Soundcloud.

Since his early age, he was fascinated by house music in the mid of 90's when he started to listen music from labels like Cajual Records, Relief Records, Prescription, Henry Street Records etc. He always tried to find more and more music and spent most of his days going to underground events and buying vinyl and CDs where he was most attracted to Chicago and French House. Once he got a nice records collection he decided to start dijing in 2005 and now with over 13 years of experience as dj.
