We are back with SRS179 and we are thrilled to welcome another amazing artist from Austin, Texas DJ Ibanez to Soul Room Sessions!

DJ Ibanez is a House music producer and DJ based out of Austin, TX. His sound is heavily influenced by jazz, disco, funk, and 90s classic house music.

DJ Ibanez started DJing in the late 90s in McAllen, TX. After moving to Austin, he quickly integrated himself into the dance community. In 2019, he founded Motive Artistry Music, a premier music promotion company, focused on bringing pioneers of house music like DJ Spen and Chez Damier to Austin.

In 2020, DJ Ibanez began producing his own music, quickly signing on to record labels Grin Music (US), House Salad (Mexico), and Groovy Riddim (Spain). And since producing, DJ Ibanez has released multiple tracks and included in several charts and podcasts.

We're thrilled to feature this house music maestro and hope you all enjoy the mix!

Here's my set from our Happy 4th Of July livestream via Monad Social featuring Mark Farina, DJ Sneak, Destrada and yours truly. Opening for Mark and Sneak is always a chance to dive into the deeper side of things and explore facets of house both of these guys embody to the fullest. America is in a moment of real identity crisis and struggles abound everywhere you look but we didn't let that stop us from enjoying each other and letting the music speak to our deeper connection that no single moment in time can break. Best friends since childhood, Gaps Sobrio and Anté, the duo behind Dust Notes, have spent many years in the underground scene as Dj’s, promotors, label owners and dedicated party goers….
Their dj career has seen them become regulars in places like Ministry of Sound, Pasha, The Egg (amongst many other esteemed venues in the uk and abroad), normally heading up the back rooms, a more natural fit for their deep, bumpy, groove infused take on House Music.
The last few years has seen them take a break from their regular DJ antics to concentrate on their new production Moniker, Dust Notes, which has already lead to releases on Bon Appetit Records, House Cookin’, Do It Now Recordings and Deep Stitched.
Despite one half of the duo now living in Mauritius with the other in the UK, the guys have no plans to slow down and you can expect lots more to be announced soon!

Whats good funky people??!  We are back with Volume 183 of the series and we are thrilled to welcome back our good friend, amazing DJ, producer and label owner of Craniality Sounds, BJinx!!

B.Jinx originates from Missouri, USA. He has been a DJ/Producer since the early 2000s. As a producer, he has made many tracks under many monikers appearing on different labels in the Midwest. As a DJ, his style focuses on the soulful, dark, and funky elements of house music. He is heavily influenced by the sounds of Chicago and Detroit as well as the sounds of filtered disco house music.

The latter part of the 2000s saw a new direction for B.Jinx as he decided to travel around the world. Playing in venues in South Korea, he began to go back to where it began for him, producing. As his productions started generating buzz in the underground community, fellow underground producers encouraged him to start releasing his tracks on various labels. His first EP, "They Got to Have it" dropped on Round House Records in 2011. Soon after. B.Jinx was releasing tracks that caught the attention of quite a few folks in the scene across a variety of styles in house music.

In 2012, he started his own digital imprint, Craniality Sounds, an underground house label with artists from all over the world. The label has already generated multiple hits with the support of many folks.
