Wax on Fridays was born through the creative struggles of a classic nine-to-five state. The chosen moniker makes a reference to the only legitimate synonym for Friday - the golden child of the weekdays. He has been into records on different mediums for as long as he can remember. Always on the lookout, always listening. Some days it’s mellow, other days it’s straight-up dancefloor business. His moniker was born ten years ago — not for the glitter, not to tick boxes — but to showcase those tracks that caught his attention. Digging isn’t some flex. It’s work. He goes through piles of music just to find that little something-something. Music that sticks. No trends, no gimmicks. Starting out digging soul, funk, and disco, he took the long route into the depths of 12"ers. A few years of traveling, catching nights in dark clubs and bright rooftops, and house music started leaving its mark — a genre which, according to him, sits very well in real life.
