Boston native and Los Angeles based, Elemen† takes the hard hitting, lyrical storytelling of east coast hip hop and blends it with the vibrant, melodic tones of the west coast. His musical pursuits started independently in 2010 while still a student in Boston. His first releases were immediately embraced by the community and featured on blogs such as Fresh New Tracks, Swag Sold Separately, Sound is Style, and many more. He was a founding member of Boston based alternative hip hop trio RUBIXX in 2011 dropping numerous singles and music videos that grossed tens of thousands of views on YouTube in a matter of months. The group was picked up by various European blogs during this time and gained a notable fan base overseas. RUBIXX has released one mixtape to-date titled 'To the Third', which continues to be downloaded and streamed on datpiff.com. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2013 Elemen† has re evaluated his goals, and recreated his sound, finding heavy inspiration in psychedelic trip hop as well as west coast Pop. In January of 2014 one of his new releases 'Build Fires' landed a feature in UK based NME Magazine. His debut EP 'The Five Points' is due out later in 2014, and is sure to put a definitive mark on his style as a young artist.
