For Clint's debut solo EP, there was no better way to make his mark than to bring on one of his closest friends and all around musical visionaries, Tone Of Arc. This May will see Kerri Chandler’s MadTech records offer up the ‘MadTech 02 - Ibiza’ compilation, comprising twenty-six tracks from some of the most hotly tipped acts in contemporary electronic music.

The MadTech imprint has been running since 2012 and can boast material from the likes of Citizen, South London Ordnance, Applebottom and Josh Butler across its catalogue, here its A&R prowess is once again on radiant display as the label continues it’s compilation series following the success of MadTech 01. This time round the imprint delivers a weighty collection of hard-hitting house cuts with ‘MadTech 02 - Ibiza’ ahead of the impending Ibiza season.

The compilation welcomes some driving forces in house music at present with the likes of Josh Butler, Alexis Raphael, Leftwing & Kody, Cera Alba, Max Chapman, Celsius and Jonny Cade delivering exclusive content. In typical MadTech fashion the label has caught onto some promising up and comers early to boot, namely Black Girl/White Girl, Howson’s Groove, Simba and Cristoph.

wAFF makes a welcomed return to Hot Creations with three original cuts on his mighty ‘Fat Gash EP’.
Playfully named after his best friend, title track ‘Fat Gash’ is a dancefloor monster with highly infectious vocals, while ‘Shabby’ has powerful keys, sonic builds and rolling percussions. Over on the flip ‘Connected’ is a high energy hitter with smooth vocals and a serious party vibe.

Since releasing his “Rainbows EP’ on Hot Creations in 2012 and following with a number of successful releases and remixes, wAFF has become a staple part of the crew playing with the likes of Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed all over the world and is now entering into his third year as resident at DC10 for Paradise. Although Andreas Quiring and Frederik Laaser, better known as The Reason Y, are already main stays in the Berlin scene, it's our great pleasure to present them to the world as the most recent additions to the Second State roster with their stunning debut EP; 'Hide and Seek'.

Over the course of three superb tracks we dive deep into the heart of Planet TRY and explore a world ripe with stunning colors, rich textures and an abundance of life. It begins with the aptly named title track 'Hide and Seek' which takes place somewhere in a dark cavernous grotto as a light flickers in the distance. As you move closer the light grows brighter but without warning quickly vanishes leaving you lost and wondering. The light flickers again and the chase continues only to end the same way it began again and again.

If 'Hide and Seek' is a game in the dark depths than the next track 'Sumatra' is a ride through the rain soaked jungle under the full moon. While faint sounds of howls and mating calls echo between mud soaked footsteps, drops of liquid bounce off your skin creating an orchestra of organic enlightenment.

The final experience on Planet The Reason Y is 'SXF' and it's a farewell to the world just discovered. Glimmers of shape and color slowly come together to reveal the bigger picture; a floating gem amidst the backdrop of infinite space as the new world is departed. As speed increases and distance grows the once overwhelming new world new turns to a tiny pebble and slowly retreats into the pitch black leaving only the warm ambience brought on by new journeys. In the words of Hunter S. Thompson: "Buy the ticket, take the ride." and experience life on the planet of The Reason Y.
