We are really excited to share our new 'Earth'-inspired single... This one's a bit different, and harks back to the sound of some of our songs from our Seasons album. The lyrics lean into the abstract, reflecting on the healing properties of rest and darkness - for ourselves and the environment around us. Alongside this, we aimed to capture the essence of night with the instrumentation - all of the 'night' sounds you hear in the track were actually recorded on our 'home' island of Ma Wan, here in Hong Kong.

On remix duties, we are happy to welcome back veteran Swedish sensation Claes Rosen, as well as rising Australian talent Stray Theories.

The original mix includes beautiful, haunting atmospheres, accompanied by mesmerizing percussion elements. Koda himself blissfully emhances the song with his unique voice throughout the track. Swedish artist Claes Rosen returns to Silk with his interpretation of "The Last Stand"; a mysterious breakbeat beautifully surrounds Koda's vocals, and a soothing bassline sits perfectly in the background. Australian producer Stray Theories, a new addition to Silk Sofa, contributes with a smooth, chilled version.
