The melody of this track was composed 12 years ago. I made it in honour of my father who died that year. Thanks to the soundcloud tombola I came in contact with Oliver. We recreated the sound to bring it to a higher level.

Here is a composition in tribute to the literary work of JRR Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" and its film adaptation by director Peter Jackson. This project is presented as a long symphonic movement based as closely as possible on the style of composition of Howard Shore.

Note that the theme of Arwen was reused at the beginning of this original soundtrack but completely re-orchestrated for the occasion.

Bonjour à tous,

Je vous présente aujourd'hui une composition essayant de rendre hommage à l'oeuvre littéraire de J.R.R. Tolkien "Le seigneur des anneaux" ainsi qu'à son adaptation cinématographique par le réalisateur Peter Jackson. L'ensemble est présenté sous la forme d'un long mouvement symphonique s'inspirant au plus près des techniques de composition d'Howard Shore utilisées par ce dernier pour l'adaptation cinématographique des films de la trilogie.

A noter que le thème musical d'Arwen a été réutilisé au début de cette composition originale mais d'une manière complètement réorchestrée pour l'occasion.

I decided to remaster and edit the original track. I re-edited the cymbal builds, adding more of my own custom stuff, and some from the Evolve library. And I also added a solo violin playing a counter melody at the end.

It's a long track, but it's split into 3 unique sections that tie together. The thought process was to follow the growth and emotions of the woman in the drawing.

When I initially saw this gate I thought of passing through it as if entering into a different world and so is the music...

This Version is my first cross instrumental collab on SC and I feel very honoured that Lyod put all his passion and feel into this song to let this song become a wonderful journey beginning right behind the gate entering into a strange and mystical world of sound....
