Musically inspired by the Foo Fighters and the Who. Speaks to the mistaken belief that greed is what drives capitalism. As consumers we are often dumb to our part in the process and surrender our power and become intoxicated by shiny trinkets and artificial status. With social media we now create artificial versions of ourselves and market them as a product. We literally make ourselves a commodity and value it above our real selves and community. 

As Max Weber said "Greed unchecked is not capitalism, greed unchecked will destroy capitalism."

Hello loves, my new track Impossible" is all about confronting those overwhelming feelings and moments that seem like they might break us—but instead, we push through. I wanted this track to feel intense and intimate, like a conversation between me and each of you. There are points in the song where the melody soars and dips, mirroring that back-and-forth struggle in our own minds. You’ll hear a bit of vulnerability mixed with resilience, and that’s what I hoped to capture—the rawness of working through things that feel, well, impossible. The Crown in the Gutter by The Jeremias Langsämmer Ensemble is a haunting and introspective classical piece that explores themes of grandeur intertwined with decay. The composition unfolds through delicate harp arpeggios, which evoke a sense of both fragility and elegance, contrasted by the rich, resonant tones of piano and strings. The strings, at times soaring and at others subdued, create an atmosphere of melancholy and reflection, while the piano’s thoughtful, measured notes provide a grounding, almost mournful undercurrent. The piece navigates the tension between regality and ruin, drawing the listener into a space where beauty and darkness coexist, much like the crown that lies forgotten in the gutter.
