About loss, about what we remember. Passing away is always a somber event, but over 20 years ago when my father was in his last days he told my mother to "be chirpy". I think it is good advice. The Colombian flag is in remembrance of my mother-in-law who passed away peacefully on 9/27/22 - may she rest in peace.

This is the first time I write something using the Cm harmonic scale (and lo and behold I stayed in key throughout) instead of the melodic. It definitely brought out some sadness.

Remembrance

I have been invited by Combstead @markcombs-928282858
to play some lead guitar on a piece of him. The piece he provided to me was such a wonderful ballad, that I immediately got the ideas for the clean guitars. The solos were flowing due to Marks great and inspiring composition! 
So I feel very honored by that and I am looking forward to further collaborations with him.
I hope you will enjoy this as well as we do!

This is an afrobeat song that I came up with based on a beat I boosted from BandLab. They have all kinds of great beasts on there, btw. Anyway, I sent it halfway around the world to my friend Mikey McFaffington in Australia. he proceeded to summon his magical saxophone throughout the song, bringing it to life. We both had a lot of fun making this one, and appreciate you taking the time to read this. I'm playing bass, guitar, electric piano, and synth horns on this one.
